Gulf Shores Golf Vacation Rentals

You want to golf. You like the beach! You need to stay in one of our Gulf Shores golf vacation rentals.

Come play. Come stay. Beach. Golf. Awesome vacation homes. What’s stopping you?

Are you and your buddies getting away for a golf focused vacation? Are you going on a vacation with your family and some of you want to golf?

How about Kiva Dunes? Kiva rocks. Its the #1 rated golf course in Alabama, and our Gulf & Golf house, located at the Plantation, is right by Kiva, and it rocks too!

Our Gulf Shores golf vacation rentals are large houses. They are located right on the beach in the middle of golf paradise: Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama!

Peninsula. Craft Farms. Cotton Creek. Cypress Bend. Gulf Shores Golf Club. Kiva Dunes. These great golf courses are very close by, so if you are ready to play, you really should stay in one of our awesome, family-friendly, Gulf Shores golf vacation rentals.

Cotton Creek, Cypress Bend, and Gulf Shores Golf Club

These are the closest courses to Gulf Shores itself, and we have beach houses right in the heart of Gulf Shores. Cotton Creek and Cypress Bend are a part of the Craft Farms golf complex and are located just east of Highway 59 before you get to the bridge crossing over into Gulf Shores itself. Gulf Shores Golf Club, on the other hand, is over the bridge, on the west side of town, before you reach Fort Morgan road. It’s a little harder to find, a very nice course, seldom busy, and well kept.

Practically all of our Gulf Shores and Orange Beach vacation homes are located within 10-15 minutes (just a couple miles) of each of these great courses. On the West Beach side, if you need something really big, try SEA Monster, when its available, or something a little different like the single level (no need to go up a second set of stairs to bed!) The Egret or Erica’s Sandpiper. Still want water, want a pool, but want it for a little less? We have the bayside properties On Golden Pond #5 and On Golden Pond #3.

So, instead of heading west on West Beach for those great beachfront golf vacation rentals, how about going a little to the left, East that is?  How about toward Orange Beach?

In Orange Beach, we have some really big, really nice (how’s multiple wet bars, private pools, and 12, yes, twelve! bedrooms), brand new properties located beachfront in a private, gated, community! These are the Jewels by the Sea: Diamond, Emerald, and Sapphire.

Lost Key and the Pensacola Courses

Lost Key is in our opinion one of the hardest courses in the area. Its no wonder its sometimes (often!) referred to as “lost ball.” Its narrow. Its relatively long. Its carved out of a swamp. Its also gorgeous. So if you are up for a challenge, book a tee time, bring an extra box (or two or three!) of balls, and stay at our Jewels by the Sea so that when you are all done, you can celebrate (or recover) in style and luxury.

Kiva Dunes and Peninsula Golf Courses

Two of the top rated courses in Alabama are located our Fort Morgan road. Kiva Dunes was rated #1 by Golf Week magazine. Located right on the beach, this Jerry Pate signature course is on the west side of the Plantation Resort, which is where our Gulf & Gulf house is located!

Peninsula golf course is a 27 hole course also located down Fort Morgan Road as is set on scenic Mobile Bay.

In addition to our Gulf & Gulf at the Plantation, we also have the Beachcastle and Fort Sun, both are located very close to both of these award-winning courses, gulf front, of course!

Mini-Golf!

Because, well, sometimes you need to keep the driver in the bag. There are several mini-golf or “adventure golf” places in the area. The big four are Pirate’s Island Adventure Golf, Adventure Island, the mini-golf facility in Track Recreation Center, and Zooland Mini Golf.

Pirate’s Island and Adventure Island are the nicest of the group but also the most expensive. Track has two 18 hole courses and they are not quite as interesting as Pirate’s Island and Adventure Island and not quite as well kept but they are a lot less money and are a part of the bigger Track complex. This is both good (because it gives you activity options) and bad (because its harder for you, or your kids, to leave). Track includes a lot of other things, especially go karts. The “Woody” is not to be missed.

Finally, Zooland is a cheap mini-golf fix. Its okay if you have young kids who just want to play. Other than lower cost, its main attraction is it is right in front of the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, which is something you really should not miss! Say hi to Patty, the director, if she happens to be there, and to the two leopards we sponsor!

Rainy Day? Need a Break but still want activity?

If you need a break from golf, but still want to do something active, the public David L. Bodenhamer Recreation Center is very nice and includes an indoor pool with climbing aqua wall, racquetball, tennis, indoor basketball, and workout facilities. Its a great choice for a rainy day!

Stay and Play with Us!

Our beach homes are where you want to be for your next golf vacation in near Gulf Shores and Orange Beach!

And if you want to play even more diverse places, there are a whole lot of other award-winning courses all in lower Alabama (or LA, as they call it down here).

How can we help you with your next Gulf Shores golf vacation home rental?
