Heatable Pools at our Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Vacation Homes
Looking for a Gulf Shores vacation home with a heated pool? You came to the right place! Heatable pools are VERY rare along the coast. If a home doesn’t advertise it, it is NOT heated. Heatable pools in stand alone homes and duplexes are very expensive to operate and to maintain, so they are much rarer in homes than say at a resort or hotel (where the cost is spread across hundreds if not thousands of guests).
But we have several heatable pools!
We added pool heaters to several of our stand alone homes and a couple duplexes in the last couple years. Mostly in the beachfront stand alone homes, but there are some exceptions. When booking one of these homes, you may request the home be heated, and we will turn on the heater a day before you arrive, and it will be set to 82-84 degrees. There is nightly surcharge for this optional amenity, and it is for the length of stay only (some exceptions for 28+ day stays, please see our FAQ, linked below). Remember, this is a heatable pool, not a hot tub. It will be far more tolerable than an unheated pool when its cold outside, but, like any pool even in summer, it will likely feel cool when getting in (to feel warmer, it would have to, this is physics my friend) be close to your body temp, and pools just can’t sustain that for a variety of reasons! Here’s a page all about the ins and outs, and FAQs, about heatable pools, but here are all the great places with heatable pool!
