Walkable to Sea N Suds (6 min!), Island Market is 6 minutes too, even Hangout is only .9 miles away, so much more! Easy beach access, less than a minute away, at 4th Street, where there is a public beach, so NO cutting through private property. Soon: a second beach access right across the street!
POOL? You bet, the community pool (15'x34') for East 11 Cottages is right outside your door! Watch the kiddos from your expansive front balcony, or on one of the community provided pool lounge chairs around the pool!

BEACH ACCESS
Beach access could not be easier! The East 4th Street public beach is kitty corner across the street. How do you get there? Walk out the door, go to to the stop light in front of the property, push button, and cross the street! No crossing random places or getting yelled at for short cutting through private property!
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 4 cars per side (2 under the side, 2 in front of the side).
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally rock solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!
Since we have a higher proportion of guests recently who are new to vacation homes, I wanted to mention a few things that may be new to guests who normally stay in hotels or resorts rather than a private home so they are not surprised. As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels, toys, or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, except where specifically noted, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

We had an amazing time in Gulf Shores staying with Bama Beach Houses. The house was beautiful, close to the beach, restaurants, and stores. The host was very helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend staying with them if you are looking to rent in the area.

The house was perfect for our group! We had 3 kids (7, 4, & 2) and 8 adults. Everything was clean, the pool was great, easy public beach access right across the street so we could walk from the house, and the communication from the management company was excellent. Highly recommend this location! Very family friendly.

We had an amazing month-long stay in Gulf Shores, and our host made the experience wonderful as first timers to the area. The home was spotless, comfortable, and a great location. From the moment we arrived, communication was quick, friendly, and incredibly helpful, even when I asked for a Valentines Day restaurant recommendation … which was fantastic BTW! βΊοΈ The location was perfect for enjoying the beach, local restaurants, and everything Gulf Shores has to offer. We stayed at Beechy Keen last week, and it was wonderful! The bedrooms and bathrooms are a nice size with comfortable beds. The airy decor throughout the house is welcoming, and there is plenty of seating inside and outside (porches). The kitchen has modern appliances and is equipped with everything you need. Beach access is near and easy. We look forward to working with Bama Beach Houses again for our future vacations!

The property was an excellent location. We could see July 4th fireworks from the porch. It is an easy walk across the street to the beach. The pool at the property was nice and not crowded. Overall, the house was clean and in good repair. Decently stocked kitchen with dishes and such. The stairs are LONG to get inside and then upstairs, but obviously that is part of the design of a beach house.

Had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay there again. I mentioned in a comment to the host that the bathrooms were a little dirty when we arrived with hair in the shower. They had a cleaning crew there within the hour to clean them. Very impressed with how quickly they responded. The dishwasher stopped working at one point and again they had the repairman there the next day. I would rate this place a five plus. a wonderful place and well maintained. Keep doing what you're doing in responding to issues and you want have any problems renting your properties. Thanks again for allowing us the pleasure of staying at your house.

Your home was perfect for us. Everything was as advertised--in fact better than the pictures (you should get new ones to show it off even more). It was very clean and we were pleasantly surprised by home good a shape it was in since its 'end of summer.' Our only recommendation would be for more towel hooks in bathrooms and perhaps at the entry but that's a small thing. We will be back!

The photos did not lie. The house was lovely, with tall ceilings, porches, and plenty of room for us all (7). I especially liked the en suite bathrooms for all the bedrooms. The house was conveniently located - close to beach, right across from the pool, with plenty of covered parking. My only regret? We should have stayed a couple more days!

Very clean, comfortable home for a family to stay in and enjoy time at the beach. My 3 year old granddaughter made the walk pretty easy.

Everything was wonderful! My family had such a great time and very much enjoyed staying in your home. We really only had two suggestions and that was having a short hose in the parking area to rinse the sand off our feet, and towel hooks in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was very nice, clean, and well-furnished and we really did enjoy all of our time there! Thank you for having us!
Large Family with small kids

Great property very close to the beach and the pool! We had 3 families with small kids and 2 grandparents total of 12 people and we were very comfortable! The bedroom downstairs was great for anyone who struggles with alot of stairs. every famiky having their own bathroom made for comfortable travel especially with kids. Having 2 refrigerators was as great as the listing makes it out to be! We Had a great trip and even after we left something behind they were so helpful! Good amount of parking, and Beautiful views from the deck! This was a lucky find for a big family vacation!

Love that this property was so close to the beach we were a group of 11 that came down for the hangout festival. It fit us perfectly and love the layout. This property had everything we wanted and there was a market only 2 blocks out that we just walked to if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend this property!!!

The house is amazingly close to several hot spots and you can easily walk to them. They have 2 fridges and I never realized how helpful that would be! There's tons of space for a large group and the pool was super clean! Highly recommend this place or any of their properties!

The house was perfect for my family and I. The location is close to the beach and a lot of main attractions. Check in and out was easy and did not have any issues the whole time!

We had a great experience and were most impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was. We filled up both refrigerators so that was a great perk! Great access to the beach, walked to the market, and had a great time with the kids at The Track. Thanks for all your help!

We really enjoyed our stay. Some things could have been a little bit cleaner, but the house was perfect for our group of 14. The only thing I would change is that I would put both bunks in the bigger room upstairs and leave the other three for couples.

Great place! Our family had a wonderful time! Clean, well stocked and a quick walk to the beach! We pre-made all of our meals, but kitchen supplied well for anything! TWO refrigerators?! Wow! Bathrooms for each bedroom, great gathering area and minutes from great restaurants! Truly enjoyed the balconies (yes-2 balconies!)! We sat out for an hour one eve, watching the storms and heat lightening...gorgeous! We'd definitely stay here again!

The beach house is awesome! My family's 1st trip to Gulf Shores. We were over the moon happy with this property. Property manager came by to say hello and brought a welcome gift. Everything was clean, fresh decor, perfect in every way. We called property manager to see what day trash ran so we could put cans out. Her answer was comes on Thursday but not to worry someone would be by to take care of it. WOW! Now that's a vacation. Easy beach access.

In a word.... FABULOUS!! This was the first time I really felt like I got my money's worth all the way around out of a rental, and this was during a holiday!! * Check-in was seamless, and our host Haleigh was super helpful and responsive and checked with us (via text) occasionally throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. She also provided helpful information about when and where events were happening in the area. * Everything was brand new and up to date in the rental... TVs, beds, showers, flooring, kitchen appliances (Keurig and full pot coffee maker, blender, crockpot, bagel toaster, etc...). * The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook meals. It even has two identical refrigerators with ice makers. * 4 bedrooms, and each room had it's own private full bathroom. * 2 balconies overlooking the private pool. * You literally cross the street from the property to a public beach access. * Satellite TV (including local channels). * Literally a 2 minute drive to the popular restaurant "The Hangout". I could go on and on, but you get the picture. This is a new community of Brand New cottages, so there's some construction still going on but truly never was an issue for us at all. This will always be our go to rental at Gulf Shores beach when it's available!

The house was impeccable. Very well furnished and sparkling clean. The abundant number of bedrooms and baths was perfect for our large group. The proximity to the beach and the shared pool was a bonus for the grandkids and adults alike. Richard shared a great amount of information in advance that made for a seamless check in and stay!

We had a great time! Prime location, pool right outside the door, very close to the beach, shopping, restaurants. Very spacious, clean and well stocked. I’d highly recommend this rental. The owners were always available and very responsive. A true gem!

My husband and I enjoyed our 6 week stay here. The home had everything we needed. We invited friends and family to join us during our stay and we all had plenty of space. The extra refrigerator was great. Short walk to the beach. Comfy beds. Only wished they had a couch, but I knew they didn't have one before I booked. I have to agree with the previous review that some things could of been a bit cleaner.

Regarding a couch, I think you mean a BIG one... due to the size of the home, we opted for the 3 love seats, and 3 chairs. It’s a fairly small living room area, and a large couch in my opinion would make the space too crowded especially for folks who are closer to the max occupancy, versus a couple like you guys! On cleaning, fwiw, I am sorry if there were deficiencies, and you were the last check in under the old cleaning company. We opted to change to the same one that handles our Night Heron and other places. So perhaps it will be even better next time you come! ALSO, news... for off season, the HOA just decided to heat the community pool during off season. I can't of course guarantee that since its not in my control but a nice new bonus feature!
