This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge (varies by season and with gas market price, has been $60-85 per night, just inquire, and must be for length of stay (this is based on market pricing for propane gas, and can change at any time, both up and down, until added to a reservation). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a week before check in so we can get it on before you arrive.
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 8 cars. More if you park under them home and stack carefully.
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also...all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

The house was great as advertised. The pool underneath was really nice and came in handy when a couple days it rained the kids really enjoyed it.. The house was very clean. Trash was removed at a timely manner. HVAC worked very well. Good water pressure and hot water at all times ,linens countertops in rooms were all very clean. Richard would email tips on where to eat and if there was a problem to get in touch with him right away.. but there were no problems. Everything went well a very enjoyable week.

The location, the one floor living space and the serene beach access were great for our multigenerational group of 9 people. The heatable pool was paid for in advance and could not be used. Whether it was an operational issue or a climate situation didn’t matter because it could not be corrected in the time we were there. 7 adults and two children would not use the pool due to water temperature. In the future I will not include a pool in my list of priorities when selecting a vacation home, and will not be returning to this home. The additional cost of a home with a pool is not worth the added expense.

I’ll be honest, I’m a bit bummed to see that 5th star went AWOL! π I actually just checked out of Egret myself with my own family this week—it was my first time enjoying the new decks since we finished them, and they are absolutely awesome. We spent half our time out there and the other half in the pool, which stayed at a perfect 84 degrees for us.
This is why 'on-site communication' is so vital. Because we use high-powered gas heaters, they can overcome the spring breeze and heat up in just a few hours. Had we known on Day 1 that it didn't feel right to you, we could have had it sorted immediately! Because we didn't hear from you until your checkout morning, we never got the chance to jump in and save the day for the grandkids.
I’m also a little disappointed that after I granted your request for a full refund of the heating fee as a gesture of goodwill, the review doesn't reflect that we made it right. Most hosts can't accommodate refund requests when issues are only reported after checkout, but I wanted to ensure your family felt taken care of regardless.
I’d hate for you to swear off heated pools forever—when they're humming, they are the best part of the trip. We’d love to have you back to show you how Egret (and those new decks!) should feel!]

We absolutely love staying at Egret, the house is perfect for my continually growing family! And we’ve already booked to return next year!
As far as suggestions, the one thing we all noticed this year was lack of towel hooks in the bathrooms. Some of the bathrooms only have two small towel rods and adding towel hooks would not only be great for towels but also for your clean clothes while you shower. Other than that, all was great!

We had a whole family trip. We lost our Dad the week before the trip. We all came together to grieve and help each other through this difficult time. The house was great! Right on the beach, away from public beaches. The pool under the house was nice and cleaned everyday. The house was clean, 2 refrigerators in the kitchen, fully stocked kitchen. We would definitely go back!

Our getaway was a Christmas gift to our kids and grandkids, and this property was just perfect for all 16 of us! Having each bedroom space with its own bathroom was just fantastic! It was clean and comfortable, and the pool underneath the home gave us the promise of water fun, no matter what the weather brought our way. The direct beach access and quiet, family oriented setting, made us feel like we had our own beach! The proximity to local eateries and shops was also wonderful. The owners are gracious and helpful, and we will not hesitate to come back again someday!!

Egret beach house has been a gathering place for our family several times in recent years... young and not-so-young from Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas and Georgia enjoying the all-access/one-level space. Six bedrooms with comfortable bedding and private baths. Two large dining areas allow for sharing meals together. The open, well equipped kitchen allows for easy food prep/service and the two refrigerator/freezers are and absolute "must". Two large sitting areas offer space for comfortable lounging or privacy for work/quiet time. Our sun worshippers have only a short distance to a relatively private beach while there are plenty of covered areas for outdoor relaxation.
The under-house heated pool is a major "plus"! We highly recommend the Egret for your next Gulf Shores getaway! The Arceneaux's

The place was amazing & got lucky with the weather. First beachhouse we stayed at with all rooms on same level. Our group is half over 60 and half adult children in there 30s, plus 2 grandchildren under 3. Thursday was our cook-in day so we couldn't have done without the 2 refrigerators.
Only had one real issue (with the washer) but your management team handled that on same day.
We enjoyed the heated pool too! The decking around the pool was nice.
The communication by your team before & during our stay was spot on! Everything was seamless and we'll definitely be looking for similar rental opportunities in 2025.

We had a fantastic stay at The Egret! This vacation home is absolutely perfect for large families, with plenty of space and wonderful amenities. The heated pool was a highlight for everyone, and the direct beach access made it so convenient to enjoy the beautiful Gulf Shores coastline. Rick and Susan Goldsworthy were outstanding hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay special. They were incredibly responsive and attentive, even surprising us with a delicious pie from a local bakery for Thanksgiving—such a thoughtful touch!
We would absolutely recommend The Egret to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. This is a place we would happily return to in the future! βββββ

We absolutely loved our stay at Egret! We loved the two separate living spaces and two large dining room tables - we love having a “puzzle table” going at all times, and it’s nice to have another table for meals.
If we had to nitpick - we wished the pool could have been a little warmer (it was at the stated 82-85 degrees; we’re just wimps)! We also could have used a lemon/lime juicer for cocktail hour. I told you they were nitpicks!π
We all agreed we’d stay at Egret again in a heartbeat…hopefully next year!

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Egret Beach House, especially the pool. However, the beds were extremely uncomfortable which was reported to the management company, and they were to look into the problem. The layout of the house was very good for our family. We enjoyed the large area to sit, talk and play games.

I am sorry you felt some of the beds were uncomfortable, enough so to 3 star my otherwise 5 star home. π I totally understand as I am a bit of a "princess and the pea" about beds (and pillows). I personally can't sleep on any soft bed, and loath memory foam, and on the flip side, I am not a fan of firm pillows! Everyone has their own preferences of course. I can't imagine all the beds were an issue but sometimes box springs or frames break, and we can always have someone come out and check. We DID actually replace a box spring there, and also two queen mattresses that were super firm--I kept them as spares for myself. I would have, btw, been happy to have someone check them for you while you were there, so in the future just reach out during the stay, especially to me, and I am happy to help out. Can't always swap things because--again--beds are a personal preference, and one persons "couldn't sleep" is anothers "loved it" (my wife, for example is the opposite of me: she likes soft beds, and firmer pillows, go figure!) but sure can ensure that nothing is broken for you all too. Again, really glad you all had a great time and loved the house, beach, pool and everything else was perfect for you all! Thank you!]

Wonderful house right on the beach. The pool underneath the house was a big plus. We beached it in the morning and after lunch we were in the pool. This kept the Grandkids out of the sun during the hottest part of the day. The 6 bedrooms were nice especially since each had its own Bathroom. Just wish they could install an under the counter ice machine. For sure we will stay there again!

That's a bummer. πAppreciate the idea though! Its a little tough to make it work though, and those do come with their own issues--I have one in some homes, and in my own personal home (soccer kids=lots of ice), they work great when when it works, and when not having to clean it all the time--and of course Egret already has the two fridges with their ice makers too! FWIW, not sure its fair to drop a star for not having an appliance that we don't... advertise, and isn't terribly common, when we DO have, what two fridges, which folks rave about (and two living rooms too!). We had a wonderful time!
The house worked perfectly for our group of 16, I don’t know that I could ever rent another house with only one refrigerator, dining room, and den again! The house is in good shape. The lock on a sliding glass door was not working and a maintenance guy came out promptly to fix it. Other positives: So much parking, AC worked great, plenty of storage space, and perfect location.
We had an issue 2 years ago with a beach house in Fort Morgan with cheap pots. Your kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked every morning and night. When we informed that the blender wasn’t working, we got a replacement the next day with a complementary box of chocolates ♥οΈ
I can’t think of any negatives about the home.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and made lots of memories. We had everything we needed, especially great weather and R&R on the beautiful beach. If we decide to book another beach vacation in Gulf Shores, I will be checking Bama Beach Houses first. I’m so glad I did this time! Thank you so much for having us in your lovely home.

Egret was perfect for our family of 12, very clean , plenty of room so we could spread out , two living rooms were great so kids could play their video games and adults could play cards in the other one. All 6 bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The kitchen had plenty of glasses, cups and dishes , but could use some new frying pans ! Two refrigerators were great for that many people , lots of groceries.The pool under the house was great for the kids on a rainy day. Love the location very private away from the crowds, like your own private beach. Would definitely rent again.

We loved our stay at The Egret. Highlights- two living rooms, two fridges, and bathrooms for each bedroom. Loved being right on the beach. Heated pool was essential for kids who wanted a break from the ocean and for the double red flag days. Management was attentive to all of our questions and minor property issue (resolved within hours). We enjoyed being far enough from the hectic downtown area, but close enough for groceries. We loved it so much that we’re already booking it again. Thank you!

The house and pool were all that we hoped for, both being clean and well maintained. The pool was a nice size, heated, and was surrounded with more than enough chairs/recliners to accommodate a large party. The kitchen was the most well equipped (Pots, pans, silverware, dishes, small appliances, etc.) of any place we have ever rented. The house had lots of storage space, with 2 refrigerators and a large pantry. All the rooms were exactly as advertised, and the common areas had lots of seating.

The house is great! We had 3 generations staying. The 2 living spaces made it perfect to have different interests going on at same time. Large centrally located kitchen with 2 refrigerators made it perfect for preparing meals or just having a snack. The heated pool was much appreciated as the weather was cool and you couldn’t go into the gulf. I’d highly recommend and will book again if dates work!!

This place was excellent! From the prefect view at sunrise to the prefect view at sunset! Couldn’t ask for a better home to relax in. With 6 kids and a mother in law we had plenty of space. Our stay was very nice. Our 3 children and their families and my two nephews and there families had a wonderful time. My sister used to share her timeshares with us but she has since passed so we asked her 2 boys and families to go with us. This is the first time we stayed directly on the beach. It was wonderful to have it right out our door! And our own pool. No crowds! It was nice to have a shaded pool some days. And we had waves everyday so the pool was a good break sometimes. Over all we had a very nice time and if we make a trip to Alabama again. We would love to stay there again. Highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our family. There were enough room and bedrooms to accommodate everything, which each one being clean, charming, and comfortable. The patio and backyard are awesome - you have enough beach space that we played volleyball and spike ball. Also you are right on the beach with an awesome view. Rick could not have been more responsive and accommodating, assisting us with adjusted check out/in and recommending where to eat. We can’t wait to come back :)

Our stay was great. Your home was so accommadating for our family vacation. It was wonderful to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The other thing that was wonderful was how close the beach is to your home. The weather was mostly great but the pool being under the house was great for the one day we had a lot of rain.We had two problems while we were there. We had biscuits for breakfast one morning and the oven didn't work. We called Bama office and someone came out very quickly. The next thing I knew was the repair man returning with a brand new stove. Then the AC closest to the beach wasn't cooling. Again the Bama office sent someone very quickly. He said the drain pipe was clogged. After he cleaned it out the AC started working great. We will recommend your home to anyone looking for a beach home. Hope my reply lets you know that our Labor Day stay at the Egret was truly a memorable one.

We rented Erica’s Sandpiper and The Egret for a week for a family vacation and wedding. They were both fantastic houses and surpassed our expectations! Everything was nice and clean, the views of the Gulf from the upper decks were breathtaking, and we even had wonderful views of dolphins from the upper decks at both houses! We would definitely stay at either of these houses again or even a different Bama Beach House. The owners were very easy to work with. The property management company was attentive. There was one issue getting the Gulf side door to open on Erica’s Sandpiper. We reported it and someone came out right away to repair it.

We stayed at the Egret for two weeks in March and loved it! Family came and went over that period of time so the six bed and six bath home worked out very well. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed over that two week period. The private pool was excellent and always clean. The reason for staying there, though, is for the beach access and the views!!! Stunning views! We will be talking about this trip for a long time!

Everyone loved the house and the beach! We really enjoyed watching the dolphins playing and the jets as they were flying over! My niece was with the Blue Angels for four years, so it was especially fun for me to watch them fly over! I personally think you have a gold mine with Haleigh representing you and your company! She was fantastic! We hope to stay again in the near future but maybe without all the family. Hope your kids are doing well and healing fast! LOVED this home & management. We had some hiccups with the vacation due to Covid-19. The owner was extremely accommodating and made sure those of us who went, still had the best time possible. The home seems to be even larger than what the photos made it look. The view of the ocean from the home is amazing. Though we weren’t able to fully enjoy the beach due to closures, the home has a large sandy backyard and pool that we put to use during our stay. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone & hope we have the chance to return in the future.

The property and experience were wonderful! The owners were quick to respond to questions prior to check in. Once there, the layout of the house worked great for us. The two living rooms have plenty of space for people to spread out and do their own thing when they wanted to, but the large tables still gave us room to have meals around one table. The under house pool for perfect to allow you to play in the pool but not have to worry about the constant sunscreen re application on kids. It was also great to shield us from the rain but still allow us to swim and enjoy ourselves. The proximity to the beach made it easy to go back and forth, which is nice when you have a large family who doesn’t always want to do the same thing at the same time. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great trip. The floor plan all on one floor was perfect for us because less steps to climb and everyone was in the same area. Lots of living space. Tile floor a bit dated but functional and probably not worth the expense to consider updating. We didn’t have any issues while there. Covered pool was nice feature when it was SO hot. Liked that there was a lot of beach and we felt like we had it all to ourselves. Check in with the company the owner uses to handle things locally was smooth. Communication with Rick and Susan was always quick and helpful. We plan to be back and definitely recommend the owners and the Egret!

This was our 2nd time to stay in this house. We had a great time. The house is far enough away from the really populated areas, but still close enough getting to the stores only takes about 5-10 minutes. Plenty of space for our family (4 households; ages 67-2) to all be comfortable. The 6 bathrooms made getting showered very fast and easy with no water issues. The beach wasnot crowded. The pool and covered deck are a nice place to relax in the shade. All in all this is a great house for large families to get together for vacation.

This house is best described as tired and needs some love. The pictures were clearly taken years ago. I think my college aged son put it best when he said this is the kind of house they rent. We had a number of issues throughout our stay, but the property manager was super responsive. The location and pool under the house were wonderful! It could be a five star rating with some repairs and updates.
Good afternoon Wanda! I am sorry you had some issues with your stay, as that is not what I expect for my guests, and not what the guests right before and after you both reported, as they were both 5 star stays... I had reached out to you directly both here and via email but had not heard anything from you. I went through the communications and called the mgt co too for a little more context. I am btw glad you found them to be super responsive, as that was my guys, mostly, who were helping you! Good to hear, though never great when they HAVE to be responsive… would rather it just go well to start! Anyway, reviewing the notes… what I found was that you reported on Sunday that the AC was not cooling well in part of the house, that an ice maker was not working and the freezer in that same fridge (fortunately 1 of 2 in the home) didn't seem to be working well, that some chairs were damaged, and that although there were a lot of tablespoons, you only had 1 teaspoon. I am sorry about those deficiencies. From what I understand, an HVAC company went out, found the unit was ‘frozen up,’ which sometimes does happen, especially when it was as hot as it was with record breaking heat, and guests open and close (or leave open entirely) the doors and windows—its a beachfront pastime! I understand after their trip, all was well. It also appears that since my guys could not get an appliance repair person to immediately address the freezer in one fridge, on Monday, they chose to simply replace it with one I had in storage that day. Although your group didn’t mention any other issues to them when they were bringing that, I see you also reported something about some missing hardware in one of the 6 bathrooms, the teaspoons a second time, and some grout, caulk, and other similar issues. I sent both someone who works for me, and a property manager from the mgt co, on Tuesday with the instruction to bring teaspoons and check on anything and everything you had reported. I had confirmation that they handled everything and “all was well at Egret.” I didn’t see any further communication (I was traveling myself and a little disconnected but tried to stay on top of it) and didn’t receive a reply to a couple notes I sent directly to you afterwards, so I think these things were all addressed. In terms of the narrative about not matching pictures and your son feeling like it was the kind of place he rents… he must rent a nice place! :-) We try to provide a nice, clean, comfortable place at a reasonable price point relative to the market any given year. We also have much more expensive homes, which perhaps you should consider… some with wet bars, and elevators, and so on too. Just not sure what to say about that given most people in the home have had a 5 star stay this year but I am always happy to assist folks and try too better understand… Again, I am sorry you felt our home was tired, and that you had some initial issues, I am glad they were resolved for you rapidly and that you found the gang to be super responsive, as, while everything can’t always be perfect—though we try!—we jump in and do our best to handle anything the guest may need, no matter how big (like a new second fridge) or small (oh, like, say… teaspoons). The covered pool under the house is genius and we really appreciated it when it was raining in the morning. The deck was put to good use with nightly charades and morning coffee while enjoying the ocean waves. We had 3 families totaling 11 people (3 of which were under 5) there is a wing of the house which is out of the normal traffic flow so that kids can be napping without the rest of the guests disturbing them, and the house did not feel crowded.

My family and I were there August 20-27, 2022, and we had a Wonderful time. The house was spacious, there was room for all. The kids swam every day in the pool when they weren't on the beach. This is only our 3rd trip to the Gulf, and the first 2 times we stayed in Fort Morgan, which is nice, but this year we wanted to be closer to everything, and I'm so glad we picked The Egret. The beds were comfortable, the couches were comfortable, and the kitchen was very "user-friendly", we actually cooked breakfast every morning instead of running out for fast food, and cooked a few evening meals as well. We weren't there to "party". I say this because we didn't use a lot of ice to make frozen or other boozy drinks. We did use ice, and the ice makers never ran out of ice. We made countless pots of coffee, and played countless games of cards when it rained and at night, and made memories to last forever. We actually are planning to go back again in a couple years, and I hope The Egret is available. I would recommend this wonderful house to anyone.

We stayed for a week in August of 2022, and it was a fantastic weekend! There was more than ample space for our large family group, and everyone was comfortable. The 2 living areas are great if you have a posse of kids who want to watch TV away from the posse of adults who want to play cards, as we did. The kitchen was huge, and I can't forget to mention the double coffee pots! When you drink as much coffee as my family does, they were very necessary. The location is also central enough to be minutes away from town (Walmart) and far enough away from attractions for peace and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a delightful time with family in your lovely home. We put to good use the large communal areas, as this clan is known as a “lively bunch”! There was room enough for the musical instruments to have a corner for evening sing alongs, as well as a games area that didn’t have to be removed when it was time for meals. The Egret is in a great location in Gulf Shores, far enough away from the busier town to be quiet, but close enough that grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops, and other shops are no more than a 10 minute drive. The house itself is right on the beach (with soft sand) and the swimming is wonderful. The property manager sends automated texts daily with the swimming risk (colored flags), which is very handy. Checkout is easy too. The owners gave lots of ideas for local rentals for beach equipment, local restaurants, etc. Our family of 10 adults stayed very comfortably, with beds to spare, and it was great to have a private bathroom for each of the six bedrooms.

Wonderful location. However the house is in need of TLC. Garbage disposal was clogged (we cleaned the drain in order to use) . The dishwasher did not work properly ( we had to hand wash dishes). The tub shower door fell off its track ( we had to put back together, thankfully it didn't break ). Bathrooms are in great need for updating . Floor was not clean on arrival and toothpaste on mirrors in bathroom. No hair dryer available ( first time I have experienced this). Not what we expeced based on the cost.

This house is so-so. The location & access the beach & pool is perfection. The house was not cleaned properly. We were missing lightbulbs. There was mold in the cabinets in the kitchen. There was LITERALLY a hole in the floor in the tile in the dining area that was patched with plywood & covered by a rug. The doors to the washing machine & dryer were closed by a rubber band. The water pressure in the showers couldn’t get the sand/sunscreen out of my hair. Meyerre was very nice. They came very quickly anytime we had an issues. Kudos to them. Overall our vacation was great. The beach is so peaceful & quiet at this house, but the house is just average. 3/5 stars
Update: We got to our gap in stays without cancelling anyone! Thank goodness. Thank you to those who were understanding about the floor damage. We’ve now completely renovated all living room floors. Brand new everything, and the temporary fix is long gone! Lots of new stuff, nips and tucks! Good morning Amanda. Glad you had a great vacation, and loved the peace and solitude at our home and its beach. I missed this and apologize for the delay in responding. I had actually reached out directly to you during and after the stay to see how things went, but don’t see any responses to those, nor any communications directly to me (or my office) from during your stay… I am sorry you encountered a few things that were not quite perfect. I’d like to take a moment to address some of your items. First, I’ll reach out again as I would like more information about what you experienced when you mentioned my home was “not cleaned properly”—beyond your report of some mold in the back of a cabinet—I’ll ask about this too as my own person could not find this, and it may have been handled by Meyer since you gave them kudos for coming out rapidly and addressing things for you—and hope that included cleaning—since it is their cleaning crew. As noted in my messaging to guests before arrival, there is damage to the floor in the living room. It was temporarily, and securely, fixed with plywood sheeting, then covered with an area rug. Unless something went sideways with the fix, it should not have impacted your stay in any meaningful way, but yes, it is an issue we have to address permanently. Water damage badly saturated the area, and we need to fully remove and replace the subfloor and tile. We cannot do that until there is a break in guests--or we cancel someone's vacation (as inventory is so tight now, there is nowhere along the coast to move people). The few I asked early on about that did not take me up on it so we’ve included it as a heads up in our notes to guests. It is scheduled for end of season as it will require more than a Saturday turnaround—I blocked a full week and that, with other upgrades I want to do at the same time—will be tight even then. Want to do it right so as to not make it look like a partial fix down the road. Doors closed with a rubber band. That’s odd, but my guess is the little ball at the top of the bi-fold just needs/needed to be adjusted and a guest ‘fixed’ it with a rubber band rather than report it directly. I was unaware of this, but thank you for mentioning so I could have my guy look at. Surprised Meyer didn’t fix it for you when they came out. Always happy to have someone go out myself too as these types of things are generally easy fixes—as long as we know about them. Similarly, light bulbs do go out, and the management cos don't usually just leave a supply, but they are happy, and I pay them, to come swap them when they know some are burned out. While I would love for the cleaning crews and mgt co to check every light every stay, that’s not reasonable, though they are usually scheduled to be checked periodically. We have been switching to LED too as they burn out (though my own experience is those are less robust too than their rated hours, sadly). Greener though for sure! Also, its entirely possible, as this happens a LOT, that they are on switched outlets. The number of times guests report that plugs or lights aren’t working but in fact it was the light switch not being on is actually quite high. As to water pressure, I had my guy come check this, but water pressure at all the showers was good—although he admitted he did not run all the faucets everywhere at the same time. I put checking/re-checking all the filter screens on the shower heads and faucets on the construction/deep clean list too but suspect it was possibly unique to you and your stay—but sent a note to a more recent guest just to be thorough! Again, I am sorry that the temporary floor repair, a rubber band holding the W/D doors from swinging open, and some cleaning issues and burned out light bulbs left you with an average impression of my home and we will certainly have those fixed for next time. Nice house, slightly older but right at the ocean and away from beach/town traffic. Pool was cold first day but management reaponded and heated up nicely. Lots of room, great that every bedroom has a private bathroom.

Large house, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen utensils, lots of deck chairs... the location is on west beach road away from the areas of densely spaced condos and houses ...gave us a feeling of freedom and privacy.. Family was very pleased with the Egret..

I loved this house! It was the perfect size for our family reunion. The views are spectacular! I’m so glad that you allowed my small dog. I also appreciate the fact that the pool was always ready, warm and clean. We hope to be back in the future. You have a gem there with the Egret. And thank you for letting us stay! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

We had a great time at Egret. The layout was perfect for our whole crew. We had 8 adults and a wide age range of 7 kids/babies. The location was exactly what we were looking for, our spot right out front on the beach felt very private. The kids loved the pool too!

We had the BEST time staying at the Egret!! The house was wonderful and the private access to the beach was amazing!! The pool was a huge bonus too!! We made so many memories there and we are already talking about the next time we can all get together and head back to the Egret!

The best beach experience! We had family fly into Utah for our little ones 2nd birthday and this house was AMAZING! Everything we wanted and so much more! Private access to the beach was wonderful and the heated pool was so fun! We are definitely coming back! Thank you!!!

Very nice! We had a great time staying at Egret property. Location of the house is wonderful. Close to restaurants and entertainment yet quiet with a beautiful private beach. Covered heated pool was a great way to get away and spend time in the water away from the sun.

The house is in the perfect location. If you want to avoid crowds and still have a great beach experience, this is an option for you. The house wasn’t as clean as we expected based on other reviews. (Gummy bears IN the mop bucket; massive Cheetos under much of the furniture- didn’t know they made Cheetos that big; two beds with no sheets and bits of trash on the mattresses; lots of trash under every bed- it is still there- we did not clean that, and more.). In all fairness, I called the realtor who offered to send someone out to clean and I rejected the offer. We have an infant and with covid rampant- chose to deal with it ourselves. One last thing- there is no grill. We bought a small one while we were here. Waves sells them. Were it not for the cleanliness issue, this house would have been close to perfect. The owner is really responsive by the way! He answers quickly and thoroughly.
We would go back in a heartbeat!

Everything was very nice. Only constructive criticisms would be: 1)the AC unit for the beach side half of house doesn’t seem to be able to keep up with the heat. It didn’t get out of the 80’s while we were there and with the TStat on 72, it ran all the time and struggled to get keep the room temp at 78. The other side unit worked very well. and 2) the kitchen could have more and bigger pots and pans. We had 10 adults in a house that can sleep 22, and we struggled with the kitchen pots and pans to cook enough for our 10. You couldn’t have done it for 22 people. Seriously though, the place is excellent, those are constructive criticisms only. We would go back in a heart beat!

We enjoyed our stay at the Egret, even though we were there for evacuation from Hurricane Laura. The house had plenty of room for our extended family to stay and be comfortable. The beach was not crowded at all! The owners sent us a cheesecake while we were there because they knew our evacuation situation. We would love to come back to this home and visit again!

This house was perfect for our family. There were enough room and bedrooms to accommodate everything, which each one being clean, charming, and comfortable. The patio and backyard are awesome - you have enough beach space that we played volleyball and spike ball. Also you are right on the beach with an awesome view. Rick could not have been more responsive and accommodating, assisting us with adjusted check out/in and recommending where to eat. We can’t wait to come back :)
