Please note: this home is absolutely beachfront. It is located right on the gulf, with nothing between you and the gulf except the sand dunes. However, as with many areas on the gulf, you CANNOT walk directly from the back of this home to the water because of the protected dunes. They serve a very important role in protecting the homes, and harboring wildlife, and walking over them is not allowed as it breaks them down. However, there is a nice wide boardwalk right off our little private cul de sac (in fact, right by the closest of the pools which is ALSO right on our cul de sac, 2 homes over, so "right there"). This short boardwalk takes you directly to the beach/water, and, as a bonus, is great for folks who may have mobility concerns or may be lugging stuff in wagons or what have you! :-)

We had a great time. The location is awesome. Watch out for the scalding hot water temperatures. We had to buy a couple pillows because most of the pillows were super thick.

And I will have the water heater checked. Sometimes they get set up higher by folks who 'run out' of hot shower water. Pillows. Pillows and beds are such a personal preference. Like you, I'm not a fan of the really firm pillows, but on the flip side, I really like very firm mattresses--can't sleep on soft ones! But.. to each, his or her own. I always try to just bring my pillows and strongly suggest that to others so you have what you love. Just returned from an amazing week in one of the Bama Beach House properties. Rick and his team made it so easy to seamlessly check in and out, provided excellent communication during the entire year leading up to our visit, providing helpful information about the property and area we stayed in and more. For our very minor issues (towels and key cards for extra resort amenities), as well as questions, the management team was immediately responsive and resolved those things quickly. The house was even better than we could have imagined. As a family of now-40-plus members who has been gathering every other year since 1986, across many properties, we have seen it all. This week was one for the record books and helped remind us all why we look forward to this week from the second we leave until the next time we meet. Bama Beach House made that possible. Many thanks to you- you’ve guaranteed our return to Gulf Shores!

My group of 12 stayed for 8 days in Gulf and Golf East and loved it. We had age ranges of 1 year old to 57 years old and it was perfect for all. The kitchen was well stocked, which was a plus because we were able to do a grocery pickup the day of arrival and cook most meals in the home...HUGE SAVINGS! So many bathrooms meant no waiting for 'your turn'. Big space, lots of room..and THE VIEWS! Every balcony has a great beach view! Ample parking area for multiple cars. As having alot of kiddos in our group, the safe feel of the resort/nieghborhood left us at ease for letting our teens walk around the pools andto and from the beach without fear... cant put a price on peace of mind! I'll definitely recommend this place for a family or large group looking to stay in a less busy beach area!

Loved loved loved Gulf & Golf. My family rented both sides of this home and had it to ourselves. We had plenty of rooms for everyone, and TWO kitchens and living rooms, which was particularly nice to 'divide and conquer' :-) We enjoyed using several of the resort pools and the tennis courts too. Owners were very responsive and accommodating, even let us move our stay when we had some issues... We will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

We had four families (19 total) stay here over spring break 2023 and we had a great time! The property location was excellent and very close access to a boardwalk/beach. Beautiful property and unbelievable view from the house. The amenities at the adjacent resort were also very nice, as there were plenty of activities for our wide range of guests to partake in. Would absolutely choose this place if we were to do this trip again!

Property owners did a good job with the transition however the home they put us in was dated & need some attention. Not well decorated, no bed pads, furniture Mis matched. Microwave needs replacing & takes up counter space because the kitchen is dated. We did not feel that this location was comparable to our original booking & was charged the same price. They did respond promptly when we checkin & one of the bunker beds was broken & looked dangerous. I would have thought the cleaning crew would have reported this before our arrival so that we did not have to deal with it. Not the luxury house we thought we were getting for the money we paid. All that to say we had a great family vacation & the Seafood market was very close by.

Great property for our group of all ages! Each bedroom had tv along with big screen in living room. Close to beach and pools. Loved 2 fridges & washer and dryer. Great parking area for all of our vehicles. Trash pickup, maintenance crew came quickly for few minor repairs! Exercise room was being renovated but looked like great area. Overall we would definitely rent this unit again!

We had a great week & loved the house. Everything was clean & in good order. I contacted the management company twice & they were very responsive! We couldn’t find the wi- fi password initially & the TV in the living room only had 2 channels. They sent someone out first thing Tuesday morning to fix the cable. I will say that I think your dish towels/cloths & Rubbermaid containers have “walked off”. We barely had enough towels& washcloths for our crew so we used lots of paper towels to dry & wash dishes. A drying rack or pads would also be nice to have. Otherwise, everything was perfect! Thank you so much for everything!

The house was the perfect size for our group of families with kids ranging from 3-11. Easy access from the house to the beach and all amenities. Well stocked kitchen and great seating options for so many people. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add picnic tables under the house for outdoor eating. We loved it and can’t wait to stay again!

Excellent location for the beach house. All the amenities of the Golf & Gulf Resort come with this rental! Enjoying So many of them…truly helped all of us. I do believe the large front windows need to be changed out to view better from within the beach house. I took photos of the outside wooden window trim that needs attention… we didn’t want to be responsible. The property manager said in an email that he would have the problem addressed. I called for more items and we received what I had asked for…a new coffee maker (in the box) was one of the items needed. The bedrooms were set up nicely and there is enough bathrooms. Our family for the most part truly enjoyed this beach house…We would rebook this beach house too!

Great vacation! My family really enjoyed this duplex! Very roomy and right on the beach in a resort with a golf course. It was the week of July 4th, so it was a little crowded at times in the pools and on the beach but definitely not as busy as a PCB or similar beach. Bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms are nice, and amenities were great! Highly recommend. Owner/management communication was great as well.

We loved this house! It was perfect! Just a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach, and just across the cul de sac from the pool everyone in our family could do why they want! We only rented the one side and couldn’t hear our neighbors at all unless we were both on the balcony at the same time! The only downfalls we had was the code given to us didn’t work, but the property manager was on site within 10 minutes and was more than helpful! The other was the amount of stairs, they were definitely doable, but if our grandparents had come I don’t know if they would’ve been able to! Would definitely recommend and stay again! - Kimberly

Right on the beach

The home was very clean on check in. Check in process was easy upon arrival. However the property managing team caused a slight hiccup regarding guest Identification the day before arrival but the owner was very helpful with resolving this right away. The house was very roomy. Right on the beach. You walk out the house on the beach. Well stocked kitchen for all meals to be prepared. The out door furniture needs some attention. The table and chairs are worn, torn and broken. The entire glass top was missing from the big table. We was looking forward to having lunch out side that Sunday. Most of the electrical outlets are worn out. Our devices would not stay plugged in to charge. We learned soon which ones worked better. We loved all the table seating in the kitchen and dinning are. It would be nice to keep a start up salt and pepper. Two refrigerators! Great parking for everyone. Lots of towels. Sheets was clean but other bedding needs to be replaced. Some are torn with iron burns. Others are faded with old stains. The property is located next to a resort that this property was advertised as sister properties and we would have access to the resort's pools and restaurants. Well we was very close to two of the outside pools and had no problem accessing them. The indoor pool was badge access ONLY! There was no access badge left in our home. I IM the team the day before check in and inquired about this. The response was " I would not need anything. When we couldn't get in the indoor pool building the I texted the local management team again and they responded with there should be armbands in the kitchen drawer or on the bar. It was not. Needless to say we did not access to the indoor pools this stay. Because it was a rainy weekend and a bit cool. This was one of the main reason we booked this property. Small disappointment. The property is 10-15 minutes away from the main strip and main groceries stores and restaurants. Get what you need before you settle in for the night. There is a small local grocery store near by. Overall I will say the local management team was very timely with responding to the small issues we had with wifi and TV remotes. We enjoyed being right on the beach with all the balconies with large glass doors. The rainy days did not allow us to be outside the hold time. The house is a duplex but we had no neighbors during our stay. we did walked the community on Sunday with the kids. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Great! Overall we were very pleased with out stay! The house was up to par and met the description. The only heated pool at the sister resort was closed the only two good weather days we had(they waited until spring break to paint the deck around the pool.) But at no fault of the rental agency. Access to the Beach was via a wooden walkway a couple houses down instead of right off the back of the property. Other than that everything else was very pleasant. We would come back again!

Very nice! Great house for a family. Someone wrote that it was shabby. It must have been freshly painted since that review. Everything was very fresh. It didn’t have all the white furniture that some of the houses do, but that was fine with us. I didn’t want to worry about my grandchildren staining the white furniture. The management and owner responded very quickly to any issues we had. The pool and hot tub were near the house, but not near enough to be too noisy for us. The beach of course was also right there. The place was also immaculate when we got there. There was a nice sand volleyball court and tennis courts. Overall a a very nice house and location!

Great trip! The duplex easily housed 4 adults and kids with plenty of beds and dining room seating. The kitchen was very functional with a good layout and all the basic equipment (no spices or S&P) for cooking. An extra fridge in a side room was a big plus. Definite highlight for us was the indoor pool since we were there during the big winter storm and couldn’t fully enjoy the gorgeous beaches. Rick and the property managers were great and quick to help us out when we had a question about the lock. Overall great trip with friends. Would visit again for sure.

The home was exactly as described and felt roomy and comfortable. Hurricane Sally damage on the condos in the complex lead them to keep all the pools closed (disappointing since the pool beside the house was clean and nice) but we enjoyed the beach and wonderful weather. Thankful for our time there and the beautiful home!

Perfect Covid Vacay. Our family vacay during Covid was perfect at this secluded home, distanced from the usual bustling masses of the Gulf coast. Plenty of room for our family of 6. The house is a double but we barely even crossed paths with our neighbors. And the views were extraordinary - completely unobstructed and expansive! Large open kitchen for all our dinners/cooking. If you don’t want to deal with high rise condos/elevators and crowded pools, then this is the place to stay!

We love Gulf Shores! This was our 21st stay at the Plantation. We started out in the older 2bed 2 bath condos and have rented various condos over the years depending on the number of people we bring. Our children are grown now and have kids of their own. Last year we had 19 people and this year we had 15 people. Our only difficulty was that upon arrival we could not get into the condo with the code we were given. After a 12 hour drive this was not a good thing! we finally opened the door using a knife. We called the next morning and verified the code with the property manager and it still wouldn't work so we called the local number. We had the incorrect code. The new code worked fine. I'm not sure what happened but I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. The only other thing was that the bedrooms did not match the photos. For example, it shows one bedroom with two twins and a double but there was not one like that. We had married couples, dating couples, boys, girls etc so we needed to work out sleeping arrangements before we arrived. This caused a shuffling of pepople after arrival which took a while to figure out. Overall we love the condo and had a great time.

Right on the Beach; Close Access to Pools. We rented 13A and as advertised it was right on the beach with gorgeous views. There are dunes out back so to access the beach you have a very short walk past 2 houses right next door (via paved cul-de-sac), go through a gate and boom you are on the walkway to the beach less than 100 steps). Once you go through the gate you can either go to the left 10 steps to the pool(s) or to the right 10 steps to the walkway to the beach. The property itself w/all it's bedrooms and mix of king, queen and bunk beds accommodates large families and groups. It was perfect for us. The inside is very bright and cheery. It does have 2 refrigerators (bonus!), washer/dryer and comes with 4-5 parking spaces. I marked the check-in process at 4 stars because we did have some problems getting in due to an issue w/the keypad. Luckily we found an open door. It did take some time to coordinate from owner to management company but they were responsive and someone came out the next day to get the keypad working. Also, I did mark 4 stores for accuracy of the listing because the virtual tour is for the side we rented (13A) but the still pictures must be for the other side. We were pleased with the side we got because the sleeping options fit our group better. I didn't get a chance to speak to the owners about this but will. I marked the cleanliness of the property to 4 stars because there were some smaller items - the floors did not seem to be mopped on the upper level (gritty so we mopped) and the outlets on the main floor and the bathroom need to be replaced because they are worn out (meaning when you put a plug in it just falls out of the socket). Communication w/the owner was great so he is aware of this to fix in the future. This property is located in Ft. Morgan so its about 10-15 minutes away from major traffic and shopping. We all enjoyed the beautiful big sandy beach, grilling out, access to pools and the quietness of the location. We definitely recommend it.

Gorgeous house with a fantastic view of the ocean. Fit 18 young people easily. Right on the beach and the whole community was kind and friendly to us at the hot tub, volleyball courts, etc. The property owners were very clear and transparent throughout the process, especially with there policies of renting to under 25 year-olds. Great rental for any time of the year, but glad there was nobody in the unit next to us while we were here.

First I want to say that your house is absolutely gorgeous. It was very accommodating and well stocked with supplies to cook and clean. It was all good on the WiFi once we got the neighbors password and it really wouldn’t have been a big deal if we could have at least sent a text or get phone calls without going outside. The bedrooms were really roomy and we didn’t even go in 2 out of the 5 bedrooms and being that there was just 4 of us I’m sure it wasn’t hard to clean when we left. I wasn’t sure if this was your first time renting this house, if you just purchased it, or it’s been rented several times. I talked to one of the neighbors from house 4, they just sold their house and they said your house was just remodeled. I think if we were at max capacity it would have suited us just fine. It’s a huge house. The location is fantastic. The same owner of house 4 said he used to be on the board of the HOA and they are working on changing the rules of having dogs (they had a dog with them and actually we saw quite a few dogs) which will be good because it’s so hard leaving those family members behind. Like we talked about on the phone, a book or manual to the house is always nice, took me a while to figure out that there were two thermostats controlling bottom and top floors, and boy do those AC units work great! The linens on the master bed on the room with the balcony were torn and shredded, almost looks like it was melted in the dryer, and there was only one other king size quilt to replace it that I could find. The main door to that bedroom the hinge was coming out of the wall so we couldn’t shut the door all the way (not a huge problem for us but maybe for other people). Your furniture through the house is very nice and accommodating. When I go on vacation/getaway I want a nice, comfortable, dreamy bed to sink my tired body into. I can only speak for the king bed on the second floor, it was none of those. It wasn’t the worst bed I have slept on, but it definitely wasn’t the best. One more thing, the door on the beach side wont stay closed unless you lock it. We came back to the house and the door was wide open because we thought it was shut but we did not lock it as this is how we were going to the beach. Overall it was a great stay and you were very accommodating and helpful. We really enjoyed the house and next time we visit gulf shores your house will be first on the list to book. We have a large family and this house accommodated us well. It was clean upon arrival. We had lots of littles with us, and they had so much fun playing in the sand and being on the beach. We loved having access to the pool and hot tub, as well. We had no issues during our stay and never had to contact the property management. We would definitely recommend this house for large families!

Home was wonderful, location was right on the beach and there was an on property restaurant which is wonderful for grabbing lunch from the beach. You are about 20 min from Gulf Shores but avoid the crowds. The tennis courts are a little run down but it was nice to have Kiva Dunes on property...we got to sneak away for a round of golf and dinner at the club!

Our week was Good. We had plenty of beds for family. Beach access close. We loved decked space underneath house! Only issue was internet access. We did not have any which was a problem for family members trying to access work away from home. AT&T came out but said they were unable to repair??
Hi Sheila! So glad you had a great time and loved our place and the space! I apologize for the issue with the internet. Normally it is very good, running 100MB both ways. But it is the beach, and storms, sand, and salt, wreak havoc on connections. I'm generally able to trouble shoot anything that happens inside over text/phone with guests (I was a school teacher and tech coordinator as well as network services at a university), but not when its the signal to the home, sorry! When you return, definitely keep me in the loop (as we did work on it together early on, but then I didn't hear anything else and assumed it was a-okay). Out there, service is actually provided by a local provider, not AT&T, and from what I can tell, that provider came out, and checked and fixed the other side. I then had them go back, when I learned you were still down. Not sure why AT&T would have been out, or who would have said they couldn't fix it (might have been the mgt co tech guy) which is odd indeed. I do totally understand the desire for connectivity even when on vacay and am sorry that the loss of service to my home affected your otherwise awesome stay! Thanks again! Rick

We had a great week's stay! It was our first time at Fort Morgan. We usually stay in Gulf Shores. We were concerned with the added drive back and forth for things we needed or like to do, however, it was nice to be a bit away from the congestion and it was a straight shot in to Walmart and an easy drive in and out of Gulf Shores. We were also concerned about not being able to walk directly out to the beach, but the walk over to the boardwalk from the pool was close and the boardwalk made walking easier. Having access to the pool was really nice for the kids. We also took advantage of the resort's lounges and umbrellas and rented four for the week. It was nice to have lounges and shade when we wanted it and we didn't have to worry about set up or take down. There was plenty of room for meals and hanging out. We had 5 vehicles and it was tight. I am not sure how you could fit more than that as the group on the other side also had about as many. The deck is not real large but there is a great space under the house to hang out. It was a huge benefit to have two refrigerators! We kept beverages and ice in one and food in the other. Check in and Check out was very easy. We did not have any dish towels or kitchen wash towels. We made due with paper towels but would have brought some if we had known. Not a lot of bath towels but we managed. Be sure and bring beach towels. The house is in excellent shape and the wear and tear of rental use were minor. AC and hot water was excellent. We have rented several houses in the area and this was very well built and maintained. Kitchen area is a bit tight but the family area was roomy. Would very highly recommend this house.

We loved this house! It was perfect! Just a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach, and just across the cul de sac from the pool everyone in our family could do why they want! We only rented the one side and couldn’t hear our neighbors at all unless we were both on the balcony at the same time! The only downfalls we had was the code given to us didn’t work, but the property manager was on site within 10 minutes and was more than helpful! The other was the amount of stairs, they were definitely doable, but if our grandparents had come I don’t know if they would’ve been able to! Would definitely recommend and stay again! - Kimberly

Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, refrigerator and pantry space, and the location is a quick drive to every thing we wanted to do while on our vacation. We will definitely book here again if possible!
