Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Homes with Elevators? Absolutely!
Sometimes folks need a little help. Beachfront homes are ALL on stilts, so the first floor is one floor up. Sometimes homes then have 2 or 3 more floors. Having an elevator available can make this trek up easier for those that need a little more help.
Gulf Shores Vacation Home Elevators are home elevators. Not toys (and not commercial)
We have several large homes that have private elevators in them. Please note that elevators in homes are NOT commercial elevators like in hotels and so on. These are small elevators more akin to what you find in other countries and in big city apartments. They are not meant for kids running around, in and out of them, and using them for games. 🙂 So do not be surprised if something happens. Most commonly, a door is left open, or people walking into and out of them a bunch of times (which can cause them to lock out). Elevators in vacation homes? You bet! Some homes have personal elevators to make it easier for those who need a little extra help. Please be aware, home elevators aren’t particularly kid ‘play’ friendly and can lock out if doors are left ajar or folks get in and out a number of times before actually using them.
