BIG too: 26x15x3-5' Rectangle, and dded a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82-84' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge that varies by season and is per night for length of stay (the 12 month range has been $65-85 depending on season) gas is expensive right now, this does not actually recoup the cost!). Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and any time up to at least a few days before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. See our FAQ about heatable pools too. The pool is beachside, in the sun, with an expansive deck area around it, PLUS a nice shaded and sheltered area to escape the heat, right under the home. Nice!

We added an extra full size fridge under the stairs in the entry by the kitchen. Because... you NEED two fridges when at the beach!
BEACH ACCESS
Beach access could not be easier! Walk outside and their is nothing between you and the beach except your own private pool. Its RIGHT there. Serious beach access, seriously right on the beach, and right in the middle of everything too!
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for as many vehicles as you should be reasonably bringing to a 5 bedroom. 8 cars? Sure. 10 maybe. But do you really need than many cars? 5-6 cars would have lots of room to spread out!
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally rock solid and ran > 250Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Please inquire. Subject to restrictions which often vary by season. Again, please inquire.

This was the absolute perfect house for us. I can't say enough good things about it. House was exactly as listed. We had several kids with our group, and the pool was great. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. Very clean. I loved the short walk to the beach. The main plus for us is there were four bedrooms with king beds. Definitely will stay here again! Loved it.

Had a great stay at the SeaRae. The downstairs underneath was well appointed with chairs and tables. The kids loved having a pool at the house. It was very functional for my wife and me, our 3 kids with their spouses and 5 grandchildren. We got lucky with great weather the week after a tropical storm.

Bummed about the lost star for "sparse" kitchen supplies, though. We stock really well and even provide a list in our FAQ of what should be there! That said β while we load up on plenty of goodies (both drip AND Keurig coffee makers, anyone?! β), we don't heavily stock plasticware or kid-friendly plates.
But here's the thing: if there's ever ANYTHING you need that's AWOL from the list β or even not on the list (never know, I might be feeling generous π) β reach out during the stay! That's exactly what the management company (or I!) are there for. To help.

This house really stands out, it’s the only one in the area surrounded by condos and hotels, which makes it feel extra special. The pool is a great size with plenty of space to relax in the sun or shade. Being right on the beach is perfect for families, and the layout works well for multiple families sharing the space. The location is close to restaurants and fun things to do but stays nice and quiet at night. Very peaceful and highly recommended.

Sea Rae has it all! The location is absolutely perfect – far enough from the main drag to give you plenty of space on the beach, but an easy walk to The Hangout, The Pink Pony and The Picnic. And Bahama Bob’s is just two doors down! The house is wonderfully laid out with a big kitchen and floor to ceiling windows across the main level with gorgeous views of the Gulf. The pool is very good sized, larger than the condo pools on either side of it, but all for you! It was also stocked with high quality kitchen items that made our two month stay a breeze. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back!

Our (2nd) stay was prefect as the home is gorgeous and having the pool, direct beach access is perfect. However, my grandchild is eight and cannot walk/crawl etc. To carry him up/down the entrance stairs was very taxing. Additionally, with no handicap features inside the home, trying to bath him proved to be hard and not safe as he very limited mobility. We LOVE this property but will not be able to stay again due to these reasons. We will continue to promote this location as a perfect get-a-way for those that do not have limitations.

The stay (your second) was PERFECT and our place was gorgeous and you loved my property π₯³, yet... you rated it a lowly 3 stars seemingly because it wasn't accessible for your grandchild... I am very sorry to hear that... and would love to help find something suitable... but... this home is not listed as accessible nor having any accessible features, nor do I see that you asked about whether it would be appropriate for your particular needs--doubly surprising since you stayed before... and since you said you would "continue to promote this location as a perfect get-a-way for those that do not have limitations" -- which is much appreciated! Just seems a bit unfair to ding my place for features it doesn't advertise and that we weren't asked about π especially given how much love you had for it and your stay! We have stayed at this beautiful home two years in a row, packed to the gills with 17 people. It is the PERFECT location, right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops.
The house has a private pool and beach access and the covered pool area under the house is perfect for having lunch and relaxing after a day of sun and fun!
The owners/managers are always quick to respond with questions. We have already booked our third trip for next year.

Overall we had a great stay. There was plenty of room. It was nice having 2 refrigerators! And being within walking distance of several eateries was amazing. The pool was a hit with all the family. The floors were not very clean (we all had black feet if we didn’t wear shoes) and there was a fishy smell in the fridge. We brought our family dog but then learned that the beach didn’t allow dogs (maybe that can be somewhere prior to booking).

I’m sorry about the floors and the fridge odor. We’ve already flagged both for our cleaning team π§Ή so it’s fixed for future guests. Being on the gulf, a lot of folks have fish and shrimp, so its a bit of a locational hazard that fridges can sometimes get smelly, but the cleaning team usually does a great job with it. I am sorry that one of them still smelled a bit on arrival. In the future, please reach out if you run into anything like this so we can have it addressed during the stay. Happy to do so!
πΎ Dog policy: SeaRae is absolutely pet-friendly with owner pre-approval of the doggos—we love well-behaved dogs —but the City of Gulf Shores does not allow pets on the public beach. It’s a city ordinance for all of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach and, while some folks do take their pups out, fines can be issued. When I bring my doggos, we don't do that and usually walk them on the road or.. there are great dog-friendly parks and trails nearby are perfect for walks and playtime.

Check in was extremely easy and worked perfect. The house on the beach is awesome if you are looking for a home vs. a condo on the beach!! The outdoor spaces, pool and area under the house were awesome. Our family thought the sheets could have had a bit better quality but other than that our stay was perfect!

Bummed to lose a star for 'sheets could have been better'--that some super hard grading given "extremely easy," "Perfect" and "Awesome" and... "stay was perfect" π FWIW, haven't had complaints on sheets and we use standard hotel sheets from Martex at the high end of thread counts in the millenium line--which is what almost everyone on the beach uses (there's really only one supplier in the area). I even keep extras for my own home.... That said, again, thank you very much for staying in my home and for the super warm fuzzy comments about your time at SeaRae, I very much appreciate it! π]

We loved the house and enjoyed our stay! We have already talked about going back next summer! Everyone only had good things to say about the house and location. The hosts were amazing to work with and were always available if needed. They provided recommendations from where to eat and what activities to do that helped us out during our stay. Location is close to any stores you would need. Grocery, shopping and rentals all close by. Overall, a great experience and would highly recommend for families or large groups.

We had a wonderful time staying at your house. The air conditioner stopped working one night but someone came out immediately and fixed it. We loved having our own pool and renting chairs from Ike’s via the Driftwood towers. Your recommendations on where to eat were great. I truly appreciate you changing my reservation week and letting us stay there. I would highly recommend it and if we go back will definitely try to book your place again.

I really appreciate you mentioning the AC! In the Alabama summer, those units work harder than a marathon runner, and occasionally they just need a quick 'pit stop.' πβοΈβοΈ Doubly so when excited vacationers arrive and may leave doors and windows open, causing "spring laps" for the AC and they can freeze up. I’m so glad my team was able to get out there immediately to get you cooled back down—we definitely don't want you melting on our watch!

The location of this home is perfect! On the beach and just a short walk to many of the restaurants and stores. The 5 bedroom designed let our group congregate when they wanted but had all kinds of room to get some “alone-time” when needed. Great communication for the owners and property managers!

Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms with lots of room for the kids.Very clean so felt like we were at home. Kitchen and dining held everyone for mealtime with so much space by the pool to enjoy. Short walk to the beach and the view was fabulous. Very close to really great restaurants and other things. My family had a wonderful time and would definately come back here. Easy instructions on entry and all that was expected for us and from management.

Stayed at SaeRae for a family celebration and was highly impressed with the house. The recent renovations were a nice surprise from when we initially booked. The house is very open & airy but still provides ample privacy for larger groups. House has every amenity you could need & want for a beach trip. As a low maintenance planner, I appreciated the lack of guess work with the whole process. Everything was straight-forward and simple throughout the whole process. Hosts were extremely responsive anytime I needed anything but provided all information up front, really streamlining communication. Excellent customer service. Location of the property was fantastic. Very close to the “main drag” and walkable to restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. The house is located between two (smaller scale) condo buildings yet was still extremely quiet and private. Can see myself coming back here with my family for years to come. Cannot express how great of a find this house is.
Loved the ice machine and extra fridge. Clean private pool and walk right out to the beach! Plenty of parking and room to spread out! I couldn't find pot holders⦠and no beach towels, but I had read that towels were not included so we came prepared.

SeaRae was an amazing place for our extended stay! It was peaceful and quiet and it was wonderful to be able to wake up and look right out on the beach through the gorgeous sitting room windows. We stayed for a month so it was great to have such a well-equipped kitchen! The internet was high-speed and worked well which we needed as it was a working vacation! The host was extremely helpful and responsive to all of our questions before and during our stay. The house was very clean and neat and the automatic check-in was seamless. The location is walking distance to great seafood restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay here again!

We loved this house! We were in town for a wrestling tournament and decided to make it a New Year's vacation. The house was perfect, the location was perfect and it was a great experience. We had 5 teenage boys, my mom and her husband and me and my husband. We all had plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable. We definitely plan to stay there again next year!!

We really enjoyed our time at your family’s place. It was perfect for us.
We had 12 family members with us and we were very comfortable. Your place was very lovely. Everyone loved watching Purdue basketball tournament (had to throw that one in) on the big screen. We don’t usually see a tv that big at most rentals.
Our daughter is getting married next year so we won’t be taking a trip again until possible 2026. We both said your place we’d definitely would see staying at again. Thanks!

We had a fantastic stay in SeaRae! The house was perfect for our group, and the beautiful weather made it even better. The management team was quick to respond—when we had a minor issue with the pool filter mid-week, someone was on-site within 10 minutes to resolve it. The kids loved the pool, and it was amazing to have direct beach access, allowing us to enjoy walks on the beach at night looking for crabs. For larger groups looking to unwind and make the most of beach time, this place is ideal. Overall, we had an incredible time and would absolutely stay again! Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I stayed at SeaRae in Gulf Shores with five other ladies. We had a great time! The house was perfect. I also wanted to let you know that the lock on the door was hard to lock. It may have been that there was a lot of rain and humidity, but the lock wouldn't fit into the plate. We called, and within 20 minutes someone was there to repair it. It was a lady named Haley. She raised the plate to make the lock fit. She was very nice. I wanted you to know that.

This was our family's yearly vacation with 4 generations and we had a chance to spend quality time together. Perfect location, perfect beach, perfect pool, everything was as promised. We had to call BamaBeachHouses on a couple of problems but they were corrected the same day. The pool maintenance crew were very efficient and courteous. The little home on the beach

Sea-Rae is a great place to spend your beach vacation! Nestled between two multi-level condos, it provides a sanctuary for families that like to be around people but not too close to them. My husband and I were amused when we realized that was how we felt after a couple of days. The home is comfortable and clean but do be ready to bring/buy cleaning supplies, PT, TP, garbage bags and such. That info is spelled out in the emails sent prior to arrival. There are grocery stores nearby if you do need to stock up. Loved the free standing ice machine, that was just a great little perk! The beds are comfortable, the showers are tight. Nice to have w/d so you don’t have to pack so many clothes. The pictures show the rooms are painted bright colors but they must have just finished updating because everything was neutral. Loved several of the wall art! The home is right on the beach so we could take breaks if you were hungry or too hot. The pool was nice but was much too warm during the heat of the day, it was August. We opted to have beach chairs and umbrellas set up for us by Ike’s Beach Service who were very pleasant and attentive. The driveway was huge with lots of parking, it was a bit hard to find when we got there but it was dark which made it a little challenging. We took short walks to restaurants and stores. We had such a great vacation and will definitely keep this home in our rotation!

Quoting my 5-year-old grandson after our second full day at SeaRea, “Can we live here all summer?” We had a wonderful week on a great property. Beach access and the private pool were a big hit with everyone. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone in the main living area. Televisions in all the rooms were a bonus for a couple of family members who brought their gaming consoles. With having a group of 12 people that included a 13-month-old, eating at restaurants is difficult. Knowing that, we originally planned on getting dinner take-out but discovered that many of the local restaurants did not offer take-out during peak time, i.e. after 3pm. The two refrigerators, though, came in handy, allowing us to get take-out at lunch and extra for dinner. The ice makers provided ample supply of ice for everyone. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking at the gulf early in the morning and late in the evening.

Our family and friends (10 total) can't say enough good things about this beach home! Location is perfect. Parking ample. Home is immaculate and view of beach and pool from back deck is amazing! The pool is clean and water a perfect temp. We just returned and no heater needed. If we were nitpicking, we might suggest some Tupperware type containers be stocked for storing food in fridge. Most VRBOs we have stayed at have them. Also, the coffee maker in the kitchen is not a Keurig so note that if bringing coffee from home. Having two refrigerators is a very smart idea for large groups. Check-in and Check-out very easy and communication with the rental agency is spot on! Any question was answered immediately. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a wonderful vacation where the beach is just a few steps away!!!!!

The stay was fantastic, and the house was as well. It was everything we had hoped for and more – the house was perfect for a couple families, the proximity to everything was great, the pool was great, and we had pretty good weather which is always an unknown for this time of year!
I will be sure to recommend this place to others that I know are coming down to visit because I don’t think you can beat that place if you have a good sized family or group!

We stayed at SeaRae with 8 adults and 5 kids. The house had plenty of room so you didn't feel like you were right on top of each other. The kitchen is a great size and the new ice maker was a huge benefit. Since we were staying in early March, we opted to have the pool heated. We couldn't keep the kids out of it! They liked playing in the sand on the beach, but when they wanted to swim, the pool was the best option. You couldn't ask for a better location either. This house is within walking distance to a number of great restaurants and bars. It's a perfect spot for both the kids and parents to have fun!

We went to Gulf Shores for a baseball tournament. My extended family, teenagers, their friends, parents and in-laws all were able to enjoy this home comfortably it was clean, had the supplies that you would need and wasn’t overly fussy. The kitchen was nicely stocked and it had a great washer and dryer. Had a nice chairs to sit in on the balcony and by the pool. Could watch the ocean from the home. It was an easy walk to get to the water. I love the fact that it’s an independent home and you don’t have to deal with others walking up the same stairs as you or risk your kids going into the wrong apartment. It was a great trip.

SeaRae is a great property and the pool being beach side was one of our favorite things about the house. The beds weren't as comfortable as hoped nor were two of the living room chairs but all in all a great place that we would book again. Large dining table which made game nights easy! Two refrigerators which was fantastic as we used one for drinks and one for food. Washer and dryer were very nice and easy to use. You really get a great place in an amazing location!

Perfectly situated on the beach for unhindered 180 degree views up and down the coast from morning to night. The pool was a luxury and with a toddler around we used it so much more than we thought. Great room opened to kitchen and the views of the gulf were the best. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Plenty of space for our 4 separate small families to find space but still enjoy being all together. Host was very responsive and helpful- thank you so much! We will be back!!!

As a group of 10 it’s always hard to find someplace to stay and since it’s vacation we all want our own space and that’s exactly what Sea Rae had. With 4 kids under 5 we wanted a private pool just so we could keep an eye on them and we loved that this house had one. My oldest daughter never wanted to get out. We picked the perfect time of year because the crowds were gone once school started and all the restaurants were no wait, even with our large party! We loved LuLu’s and papa Rocco’s was some of the best pizza I have had in a long time! The next time we are in gulf shores we will 100% stay at Sea Rae.

This was the perfect property for a family vacation, the online listing probably even undersells how great it was. The owners were very communicative throughout the entire process. I received several e-mails with tips and tricks for the area as well as extra info that might be useful around the property while we were there. The pool area was awesome, lots of seating and some of it was underneath the house so you could get some shade or wait out a quick rain shower. Even better was the direct access to the beach, made it super easy to get all the kids to the beach and set up! Overall, I can't say enough about what a great time we had and when we come back to Gulf Shores this property will be the first we look at to use!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay last year. It was a great location and we loved the huge parking area even though we only had two vehicles. The only negative we found with anything was that there was not a bathtub only showers. It worked out fine but my father was the one with the complaint. It's not something that would stop us from renting again.

Everything was great. We had a pool heater issue, but got immediate response and it was fixed. Really appreciated that. The last house we rented down there gave us the run around and in the end it didn’t really have a heater….heated by air temp.π€£ I polled all 12 that stayed with us and everyone loved it and would definitely rent it again. We had a great time! The 2 refrigerators and an ice maker were a great addition to this spacious home. Nothing beats a walk straight out to the beach or pool swim. We decided to head to Gulf Shore’s to celebrate a friend getting married and found Rick’s home! The pictures are pretty exact to what you walk into. Some rooms had a fresh coat of paint, so not exactly matched to the colors. The private pool was such an amazing feature and the walk to the beach was almost immediate. The house was spacious enough to fit our group, the amenities were all included, and the distance from local attractions such as restaurants and night life are all but 10 minutes away (some walkable). If you’re looking to stay in a private home, directly on the beach, in Gulf Shore’s, look no further. I’ll definitely book here in the future if I ever head out that way again!

And the pool was a great amenity!! The management company was very responsive. A storm blew through the first night and a glass-top table on the deck was shattered. I was able to text them pictures and they called first thing in the morning and someone came out to cleanup. However, they offered to bring a new table next day and that was never delivered. The house was clean and comfortable. However, decor and fixtures (eg, shower heads, kitchen faucet, living room chairs, etc) could stand to be updated, and there were no basic supplies in the kitchen (eg, foil or saran wrap, spices, tupperware, etc). But, otherwise, all amenities were as described and worked well. Would stay here again for sure!

It is huge, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed and more!!! We had a large extended family with kids and grandkids, and we had more than enough room. It is very kid friendly. It's right on the beach, literally steps. The view was spectacular. The pool was wonderful and a great place to cool off after a day at the beach. By far, it is the best property I have ever stayed at. In fact, we were asked about it by several families on Beach during our stay, and we told all of them, "Book it!". The only negative is that we were so comfortable we did not want to leave! Highly recommend Richard's beach house. Our family is working on dates to book next year!!!

No news is good news from us! Bama Beach Houses answered all of our questions beforehand with their proactive emails/notes/instructions. Very impressive—we knew what to expect, right down to the Keurig vs. pot on the coffee! π SeaRae’s location is fantastic—walkable to restaurants without the feeling of being crowded…a nice balance considering how crowded things have gotten in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. The renovations to SeaRae were great…everything was perfect, clean, and well done. We loved having a private pool—with 5 kids on this trip, it made things much easier and more fun. We also appreciated someone coming a doing the cleaning during the week.
could continue to ramble, but I’ll stop. The house was perfect, and the only thing that kept us from booking it for the same week in 2024 is my older sister going rogue and (foolishly) suggesting we go to Key West next year. That won’t happen; so, we look forward to staying at SeaRae again soon! π

The Sea-Rae house was so amazing and perfect for our family with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All the windows on the backside of the house made for an amazing view of the beach and the gulf. We loved loved loved the private pool. A pool is a must when you get tired of the beach. We had the best vacation and will definitely rent this house again. We also very much appreciated being able to bring our 2 dachshunds, they were so good and enjoyed the covered fenced in area by the pool.

Loved the house! Really enjoyed our stay. House was clean. The management company who worked with the house were very helpful. The pool people checked it least once that I know of. Only problem was the lack of sheets for one bed and that was corrected very fast. The big icemaker was a great surprise. With 15 of us it was used a lot and we really appreciated it. I hope we left it in good condition. Really tried to do our best. Thank you again for a spectacular family vacation.

Great house and area. Easy private beach access with enough parking for a small sports arena. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, and the 16 of us never felt on top of each other due to the large living area, pool, patio, and under house area. Be sure to bring beach chairs, towels, toys, etc as there are none here. Also, bring plenty of toiletries including toilet paper and paper towels as they are limited. Overall great time, would stay again.

In general, the house was great, we had a great time, the weather was amazing and we all enjoyed our week together as a family. We never had a need to use the local management company, the code worked at 4pm, the pool was heated, nothing broke so we never reached out to them. The cleaning person or someone must have reported the AC not working, as a service guy showed up the first night around 8pm, fixed the AC and was out in like 5 minutes. Very nice guy. The house worked great for our group, we had 12, 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 6-17… Thanks again for the opportunity to use the home, we had a great time, and appreciate the great communication from signing up for the rental, leading up to the trip and during our trip.

We loved beach house even though the weather was lousy everyday but naturally the day we left. I guess Richard cannot provide excellent weather. One morning we had tropic storm come in which was very unusual weather from Easter. Location was great. House was clean and comfortable. The heated pool saved the trip with family despite the weather. Would highly recommend. We had 6 adults, five kids and one old dog. We will be back!

We had a great stay! The place was at a great location, great cleanliness, thoughtful touches. The pool was excellent for the kiddos and we really enjoyed that space. It was the best parking we've ever had since we are a large family of 16 spread among 4-5 vehicles (7 children and 3 infants so we are busy busy!) this is our annual multigenerational vacation with my husbands side of the family, his siblings, parents, and all their children.
Your property is very clean! My kiddo spilled some water on the floor and I wiped it up with a paper towel on day 3-4 in the kitchen and there was no dirt or grime on the paper! Rare for a beach pad! Cleanliness, location, and close access to beach with the private pool/shade/shower were our favorite features and the kiddos all really loved having the smart TVs on hand for their Netflix and Disney fix.

Our new regular place for Gulf Shores! I hesitate telling others how great this property is because I kind of want it for myselfππ The best beach house we have stayed at. The pool was amazing and super big for a private property. The beach is literal steps away. The property itself is just perfect for a getaway. If you are traveling with kiddos who are used to tv, I would recommend bringing a fire stick or Roku because not all of the tvs are smart tvs. We will be back again several times. Also the owners were super quick to reply to any messages and couldn’t have been nicer.

I searched for a place that was right on the beach with a private pool that would allow my puppy and this spot was fantastic. Certainly, plan on booking this again and would not change a thing!

We are ready to go back! SeaRae was a perfect house for our family vacation. The location was ideal, close to markets, restaurants and shopping. Having our own pool right on the beach was priceless! Our condo neighbors were jealous! The house was extremely clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and the owners were wonderful in making sure we were happy. It's a spacious house which led to fun game nights for the whole family both inside and out on the deck. We recommend this house to anyone with a big group that wants to have an amazing time! A home among condos

This was a gem among a bunch of other condos in the area. There aren't many houses on the beach in the Gulf Shores area as most homes are close to the beach, but they are across the street. You have your own private entrance to the beach, your own pool, and your own parking lot. You are within walking distance to food, shopping, and most importantly a super quick walk to the beach! It's an old home feel, but that gives it a lot of character. We went in the fall where it was a little bit cooler, but because the porch and location was so great, we felt like we were on the beach just by sitting on the porch. We could watch the sunrise and sunset with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine with an incredible view.

Perfect location in Gulf Shores. Not noisy, but very close to the action at the Hangout and surrounding shops. Could not ask for better location to the beach. Directly on beach and only have to walk out the gate to the Gulf. Having a private pool is incredible when the Gulf is too rough, or has sea-weed, or jelly fish. We had 11 in our travel party, and it was more than enough room for our group. The outdoor area around the pool is amazing with plenty of lounge seating both in the sun and under the house for shade. Also plenty of eating space around the pool as well. Recently remodeled kitchen and upstairs bathroom. 2 full-size refrigerators, and one mini fridge. Seperate large ice maker under the counter in the kitchen. There are no bath tubs in the house, which was not an issue for us.

This house made for the perfect vacation for our large family! The spacious main area of the house, double refrigerators plus an ice maker, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms were just the start. Having our own pool and beachfront is what will bring us back. It's walking distance to a grocery store, Bahama Bobs, shops and more. It was extremely clean and we never felt like we were on top of each other because of all the space, both inside and out. We highly recommend this house and from all the questions we were getting from folks in the condos next door, I think we were the envy of neighborhood! Thank you to Rick and Susan for sharing their place with our family. We will be coming back for sure!

Thank you so much for the use of your SeaRae property in Gulf Shores! We were so happy and also the envy of the beach when they all saw us with our own place! We had myself and my sisters and all the hubbies/kids. We never felt like we were on top of each other, it was wonderful to have the pool to ourselves and the place was clean and well stocked. Our top perks: Having our own house. Sandwiched in between all those condos, it was so nice to be able to just buzz up from the beach when you wanted a drink, hang out on the deck with just our family, you name it. We’ll never rent something other than this! Location. We walked every morning for a few miles. You could go out either way and feel safe on the sidewalks/roads. We also loved having a grocery store basically right across the street, tons of restaurants in walking distance and the beach was less crowded right in front of our house. Rooms. We had plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone. My son even hung his camping hammock up under the house and slept there most nights! Having so much room in the main part of the house was so fun. We played games, cooked, you name it….and never once felt cramped. Pool. We had the best time playing in the pool and not having it “close” at a certain time! Fridges. Two large fridges were perfect. We put all our alcohol in one and food in the other. Ice Machine. Awesome to walk in and see this!! We filled coolers each morning and by the time we all wanted ice for our drinks it was full again (plus we could use the fridge ice machine in the meantime). Parking. Wonderful to pull right up to our front door without having to look for spaces.... We will definitely be recommending it to others and probably booking again when we can get our schedules to align. Thank you for sharing such a great place with us! We made memories that will last a lifetime!

Our family stayed in Sea Rae and we will definitely be back!! Loved having comfortable King beds in 4 bedrooms! Also we are TV watchers so having them in the bedrooms were much appreciated!! The view is amazing! The pool was incredible and even on the rainy day we played under the house!! Check in and out we’re probably the easiest we have ever been through and one of the hidden treasures was the ice maker!! We never had to get ice and we iced down coolers every day!! Thanks for sharing your piece of heaven!! We will have the beat memories of THE GULF!!

We loved your house! Your emails/communication have been top notch. …Someone in our group at some point had come across the gentleman who took the trash to the road, pool guy, and the gentleman(and crew) who replaced the microwave. Everyone was nice, and respectful of our time and space. Haleigh was so kind, we actually found out that we have a mutual connection. Again we had a great experience and will be looking directly through you again for our next trip to the beach!

We had a group of 11 and had plenty of room. The house is definitely older but it had character. The kitchen is spacious and the island was great for preparing food all with a full view of the ocean. Sadly the gulf was too rough so we were only able to enjoy that one day. We were thankful for the pool and the large deck so we could watch the water. I would recommend heating the pool. We were there in mid May and most days it was a bit too chilly to swim for the ladies. It didn't bother the kids. The main thing I would suggest to the owners is new mattresses for all the bedrooms. Specifically the back bedroom on the main floor (I felt like I was in a hole) and the front bedroom on the main floor (big dip in the middle). We would definitely stay here again. We loved walking to the pizza and ice cream shop in the evening and the coffee shop in the morning. We also walked to Bahama Bob's several times...we've always loved eating there. They have built condos in front of it, sad day. But the food is on point. We've been home a month now and we are already ready to go back!

This pool is really heated!! We’ve stayed in other houses that advertised heated pool, but really wasn’t. This pool really is!!! I can’t thank this owner enough! Kids really enjoyed the pool! The house is steps from the beach. And steps from Bahama Bobs restaurant (so it’s convenient). The management company went above and beyond too. They helped me with a cake delivery on arrival day. They also helped me quickly with an entry code issue. Very responsive, caring and helpful! The house has a great layout with views from most every room. The kitchen lacked a few items I would have thought it would have (large pot, cookie sheet, leftover containers, spaghetti stirrer). There are no pool or beach toys on site, so bring your own. You are surrounded by condos, so the beach was a little crowded, but only in the middle of the day. Morning and evening were not crowded at all. We really enjoyed our week!!! You will too - book this place!

Short walk to beach with heated pool!

We had a great beach vacation at SeaRae. We loved the short walk to the beach, the location was excellent and heated pool came in handy because the ocean was a little too rough during our stay. Also, the recently updated kitchen with built in ice maker was a plus for filling up coolers and remodeled shared bathroom upstairs was great, however there is no longer a bathtub on this property as originally advertised. We traveled with our grandkids ages 3, 2 and 1 so it was disappointing but we made it work for them during our stay. Also, the management and owner were very easy to work with on the minor issues we had upon arrival with entry code not working and missing Keurig machine. For those traveling with pets, there is not a grassy area for them on the property but that was not a problem to walk our dog over to the condo next to the beach house that has a grassy area for pets. As long as you pick up after your dog it is not an issue. We made it up to our fur baby by taking him to the 2 different dog parks in Gulf Shores not too far from the beach house (10-15 minute drive) to run and play during our stay. Everyone had a great time!

Best place on the beach! Best place we have stayed so far, and we go 2-4 times a year. The walk to the beach is the best part. It is steps to the ocean, not a long hike back and forth. The location is close to great dining spots. The house is large and plenty of seating in kitchen and living room. It was nice that the whole house accommodated our big group. We will absolutely stay again.

Our stay was wonderful! We had zero complaints except we couldn’t find a dust pan, but that was extremely minor! The weather was great & it was amazing being right on the beach. The kids in our group range from 4-9 so everything was perfect for everyone. Having the beach right there was very convenient with the kids, cause you never know who’s going to need to go to the bathroom or just be done.
