Great place to stay in Bloomington, in the heart of Indiana University's athletics area! We have just the spot for you. Located 2 blocks west of IU Memorial Stadium on East 17th, our place is an easy walk to all the athletics and graduation events, and very convenient for any other trip to IU and the Bloomington area! You can see the stadium area from the bedroom window, roughly, well, 3 football field lengths away!
Parking? You bet. Despite being right by all the action, you have parking for 2 cars right across from the unit, not blocks away.. right there!
219 E 17th has 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed, but what's more? Its not just 3 bedrooms. Its a fully self-contained place, no sharing, with its own separate living room, dining, and full kitchen area with a full set of cabinets, a FULL refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and.... oh, and coffee? Of course... both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker for whatever your high octane (or decaf) desires may be! Table behind sofa can be opened to seat up to 6 too. Note, NO the living room coach is not a sleeper sofa. We intend this for up to 6 people, and have not included QSS or other 'people packing' features. Nice place. Perfect location. Comfy. Not for large groups.
You have a set of stairs from the private entry to the living space, and then it is all on one level!
The 3 bedrooms (each with a queen) shared the two full bathrooms (each with a walk in shower and toilet).
Internet & Wifi? You bet. High speed internet from T-Mobile delivered on a nice Eero-based Mesh network to ensure coverage throughout. Smart TV (55" Roku based) in living room to login to your own services. Please note we do NOT provide cable or other television services at this time but you are welcome to use the smart tv to login to your own, or BYO device to have whatever your usual services are.
Share anything? No. Nothing inside, and not the entrance either! You have a private entrance to this apartment. The kitchen, living room, baths, and bedroom are for your exclusive use. Please note that this apartment is an apartment among other apartments and townhomes which means (although this almost goes without saying...) that it shares walls with another place, but in this case, just the folks downstairs, as well as the parking areas and outside common areas. Because this is in the heart of the athletics area, you can expect to be in the middle of all the football, graduation, basketball, soccer, and other action along 17th street. Want to be in the middle of it all, with easy, nearly unparalleled access, this is the one! Want to be isolated, off the beaten path, no one around (and a drive to the action)? Perhaps look elsewhere. :-)

Wow! We booked for a football weekend, and they aren't kidding: this place is SO close to the stadium. It made walking to the game super easy! Clean, comfortable. Nice little extras on arrival. Perfect for IU trip! Rick and Susan's place is SO close to all Assembly hall and the rest of the IU athletics stuff, and even walkable (a longish walk) to downtown! It was incredibly clean, and ready for us when we arrived. 2 baths made the 3 BR that much more convenient. TV and wifi worked great too! Can't wait to come back!

Stay was great! Everything was as expected for a fun weekend in Bloomington. Only comment was the lock feature was slightly stuck so you had to turn a little harder than normal to lock/unlock place. Once we learned this it was still pretty easy to get in and out.

The door is a little tight, so you sometimes, depending on humidity levels too, have to push/pull the door a little to make it easier for the deadbolt to retract/extend. It was amazing. The best bnb I have been to. Very nice host, so responsive and helpful. The flat is beautiful. Everything is new and very clean. Can see mature trees from the bedrooms. I saw a fawn and rabbits from the bedroom window. A/C works really well. TV very big and new. So convenient for Campus since there is a bus for free from the Stadium. It was very quiet. Groceries and CV's Pharmacy near by. I will definitely come back.

We stayed for two nights to see a Sunday IU basketball game. The apartment is set up very efficiently for its size and has everything that 4 unrelated adults could need (6 if you want to share beds). Three separate bedrooms with doors and queen beds, plus a couch that was comfortable. Just under a one mile walk to the Bloomington town square with restaurants, bars, and shops. Under a 1/2 mile walk to Assembly Hall, no driving or parking at the game necessary. Parking was a little confusing but the hosts cleared it up promptly. It would help to put a large house number by the front door of the unit facing 17th Street. Overall great place, five stars.

Wonderful stay at this location! Rick and Susan were PHENOMENAL hosts!! They were super helpful and periodically checked in making sure all was well/ we had everything we needed. This property perfectly accommodated 6 people for a friends weekend reunion. The property was a short walking distance to IU athletic stadiums and a >10 minute car ride to restaurants on Kirkwood and Downtown— truly a perfect location. I've stayed in both this one (a 3 bedroom) and the 1 bedroom across the street. The location could not be better for IU athletics, and the place was very clean. The host was very responsive, and they provided a lot of communication. I also loved the little touches and the supplies and snacks! I will definitely be back!

Well maintained and nice space. Very clean and nice finishes. Three parking spots was also great. Both Rick and local representation (Elkins) were great. Building looks like an office space on the outside (which doesn’t matter) but the inside was wonderful. I say that about the building because we passed it a few times and the entrance is on the back side of the building. Price was fair for a football weekend. Would definitely stay again.

Rick’s place was so clean!! Most important thing in an Airbnb!! π He replied to my questions so quickly. Was much nicer (and cozier) to stay here with my sister and daughter while we visited her at IU. Was perfect location for tailgating and walking to the game. Nice, short walk home afterwards, too! We will definitely stay here again! ππΌππΌ
