YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.
No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

The house was exactly as pictured and the owner communication was excellent! My daughter got married on the beach a few houses down but we used Fort Sun East for getting ready and the pictures in the house turned out great since it was so light and airy. Everything in the house worked, bathrooms were updated, and it was nice to have thermostats on all floors so that each was controllable and the upstairs people didn't suffer being at the top. Overall, a great experience in Fort Sun East.

Plenty of space for our group of 8 adults and 8 children! The access to the beach was excellent! We spent most of our time on the beach! Kids loved ghost crab hunting at night using red-lightbulb flashlights.

House was great for all of us. There needs to be some shoe scrubbers before you walk in or the driveway needs to be paved because it is a losing battle on the sand getting in the house. (Granted. Sand is gonna win, but some way to remove SOME before you get in the house would be awesome)

We have had a great weekend at Fort Sun East & West. Unfortunately one of these sides has already been rented during Labor Day weekend next year so we booked your Sarah's Beach Baby for 2026.
Also, we have really enjoyed booking and working with the Bama Beach Houses. The emails have been informative, and y'all have been very responsive/helpful with the few issues we had. Our family has been coming to Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan on Labor Day weekend for over 20 years, and we look forward to continuing the tradition.

Listing and pictures very accurate. Right on the beach, 7 bedrooms, wading pool ideal for toddlers and kids.Kitchen not well laid out but 2 refrigerators and enough utensils for an army. We liked it.

Our stay in your beach house was overall very enjoyable. We loved the easy beach access and enjoyed the pool. We also loved that we didn’t have to worry about putting the trash cans on the road, and that we didn’t have to do much cleaning up to leave. We were a little dismayed that access to two of the bedrooms was only through other bedrooms. We worked it out, but I can imagine that for some families this could be a problem. Again, overall a very enjoyable vacation. Thanks!

The place had plenty of rooms for the five families that stayed with children ranging from 2-18. The master bedroom on the third floor only had a jet tub which wasn’t convenient for the family who stayed in that room. The other bathrooms all had shower/tub combos. The beach area was clean and was easily assessed from the home being just steps away. The pool is on the small side but worked great for the kiddos or to jump into to cool off from being at the beach. It was great having two refrigerators but the door shelves did fall out easily. There was plenty of seating for everyone at dinner time with the bar and two tables. The outside patio furniture was in great shape and was good quality. Overall, we had a great stay with no problems to reports to the property manager.

Wondered about the little lost star making it only 4, and appreciate you letting me know it was because... the beach home has a lot of stairs. Bummed to lose one ⭐️ for that since ALL the beach homes have lots of stairs, since they are all one level up to start (by code) and the duplexes, while a great deal, tend to be straight up (no landings). That doesn't really feel like something that was wrong... 😔 but if you decide to return to the beach... you should look for stand alone homes (which often break up the stairs). I actually have one with ALL the living space on one level (its STILL one up... but once in , no more stairs 😉). Also a couple with elevators, but those are a LOT bigger (and of course more dinero as a result!). Again really glad you all had a fantastic time, that everything was great (and as described) and you and the whole family had fun! Thanks again! 🙏]

The house was exactly what we expected based on the listing! Super nice to be right on the beach and the Fort Morgan area has a very nice and relaxed feel to it. The kids loved the pool but it was a little small for all 19 of us (we knew it would be small based on pictures though). The local company was quick to respond to texts about needed items in the kitchen and brought them the next morning. Check in was super easy. Lots of emails and communication that was helpful. Fort Morgan is kind of in the boonies (30 minute drive to Gulf Shores from Fort Sun) but makes the beach less crowded. We enjoyed our stay!

I meant to email you earlier in the week but it slipped my mind. We wanted to let you know the garbage disposal did not work which caused the sink to back up. We plunged it and it went down but wanted to let you know. One of the bed supports in the bunk room was broke too. The kids didn't tell us until we were getting ready to leave.

This duplex is made for our extended family. There is a door that connects the two units, Fort Sun East and West. That allowed us privacy with easy accessibility to our cousins. We loved all the bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, and two refrigerators was very nice. Property manager was easy to contact. We have already booked for next year!!

We loved being right on the beach. The view of the ocean and especially the sunrise was awesome! The private pool was definitely a plus! I bought an inflatable volleyball net and it was "let the games begin!" Lots of fun with the grands and greatgrands.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! We rented both sides and had 6 families on this trip. The house was more than big enough for all of us. The multiple fridges were great since there were so many people and some people were very picky so they had to have certain foods and drinks. We love staying in Fort Morgan due to the peacefulness of the beaches so this was perfect for our group. The two pools were perfect for nights when we weren't able to take the kids to the beach. It was also perfect for my grandson who has eczema and can't be in the sun for a long period of time. All of the parents loved the connecting rooms, so they were able to be close to their kids the whole stay. We go to Fort Morgan every year with family and friends, but this was the first time staying in the same house with so many people. It was way easier to do things and go places together instead of meeting up somewhere and waiting for others to show up. This may be a new tradition to stay in the same house so we will definitely book again, already looking for the summer of next year.

Thanksgiving with our adult kids and grands--the whole gang! So nice being right on the beach. Fort Sun was perfect for us. Lots of stairs, but that's to be expected in a beach house. The beach was so BIG and wide open. We liked being able to set up tents (and leave them up). Overall, a great stay!

We had an amazing vacation! There were a few little things that were of note but definitely nothing to ruin our vacay or needed immediate attention. One was the step down to the beach was really tall and tough to navigate with three 2 year olds. None of these needed attention but might need to be looked at. Plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, the washer and dryer worked, everything was great.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Fort Sun East in Fort Morgan, Alabama. There were 14 of us staying for the week, and the house was the perfect size for our group of adults, pre-teens and 20 something's. The location was superb for our group.....quiet beach but a short drive to the happening places for the 20 somethings to enjoy. Overall we were very satisfied with the house features, size and location and would recommend it to others. Our experience with Bama Beach Houses were both positive and wouldn't hesitate booking again.

We absolutely loved the house and the location. We were three families coming together for our annual vacation, with ages from 2 to 60, and it accommodated us all very well. We arrived a little early and knew we would have to hang out downstairs while they finished cleaning. The cleaning staff were very nice and did a great job. It was a great place to stay and we will definitely keep it on our list.

This is a great beach house with very helpful and communicative owners! Perfect location for beach fun and gulf shores vistas! Home is a duplex, but still private and quiet. Nice layout for large family groups, comfortable living area, and we’ll-stocked kitchen. Everyone in our group had a great time and we will definitely return for more beach fun and relaxation!

This was a wonderful location and they said it was perfect. Very roomy and clean. Had a couple of issues with the Internet and it was addressed properly. The only thing I would add is a couple of steps going off of the deck to the beach as it is a large drop off

Management company was very responsive as were the owners. This house had room for 17 of us. It’s right on the beach, but it’s out about 19 miles from Gulf Shores itself with not a lot in between, although Sassy Bass is a nice little restaurant. On 4 levels with lots of stairs and no elevator.
I am so glad the space, layout, and pricing of our home was a great fit! I hope you were able to enjoy the hundreds of thousands of renovation and updates post Sally. She whacked the heck out of Fort Morgan. Thank you for letting me know about the garage and debris from the next door home. I was able to address that with the contractor, as they should not be messing up and blocking the space around out home! Unfortunately, I was unable to do so during your stay since there wasn't any communication about it. In the future, if you ever run into anything like that, please reach out to me directly (or the local management co, who handles cleaning and so on but I am always very happy to be involved), as I would have been happy to get the stuff removed asap. Our stay was great despite some misunderstanding of room descriptions. The third floor rooms are actually two suites with two rooms each that are connected. Did not work well for our group in which different households had to share those suites(had to go through one bedroom to get to the attached). The beach was beautiful and steps out our door. House could use some minor TLC (missing switch covers, loose toilet seats, shower handles, paint drips not cleaned up, refrigerator parts coming off, tv console door broken, sparse kitchen ware). House next door was being worked on so we had to walk through debris to get to the beach, but that was not the homeowners fault. We’ve stayed many VRBO with this large family and this is the first negative review we have have ever provided. Also first house that did not have a grill. (We bought one and left for next guests) Just think this house needs attention before charging the next guests 6k+. We are an adaptable family that does not usually complain so we enjoyed Fort Morgan despite the less than par residence, just please update for your future guests.
Thanks Lisa. Happy to hear you had a great stay! Sorry you were confused by the description of the two suites and that the virtual tour and pictures weren't enough. I rewrote the description just a bit to make it even more direct. Take a look when you get a chance. As for a grill, we explicitly mention that we do not provide one as the management company will not clean and support them, so its worse to provide one that may be a mess than to say there will not be one--although their often will be one inherited on site (though of course YMMV with that!). I also apologize that the construction on the neighboring house so negatively affected your stay. Both I and the mgt co have taken this up with the owner and contractor, and hopefully there will be no further incidents. As for the minor TLC, Fort Sun was hit rather hard in Sally, and you were there as it as repairs were being wrapped up over winter, apparently in the rush some things were not quite perfect. FWIW, if you stay in one of my homes in the future, please please please reach out to me or the mgt co (I couldn't find any communication) so we can address these types of things for you immediately! It was a very nice property and check-in and check-out were very good. As we entered there was a garbage left in the cupboard, some sand on the floors and much debris and garbage outside and in front. There was work being done on the house right next to us so we could not use our outside access and had to use next door due to falling debris and nails in the sand. It happened to be very windy the second day we got there so some of this could not be helped but it was like that when we arrived as well. We liked the layout of the house for a large group and the beach is very nice.

Large home that's well suited for multiple families. We had a couple of hiccups throughout the week and Rick addressed them right away and contacted us after to make sure all was well. It's hard to beat Fort Morgan and even with houses around us being rented it still felt like we had a private beach. We will be back!!

Our trip was great. We loved the place. The Management people did come out and fix the upstairs TVs, but when they did the downstairs tv in the living room stopped working. I reached back out the next day but never heard a response. But since the living room tv had options like Netflix and Hulu we used those when we wanted to watch something. But we really didn’t miss the tv much. We spent most of our time at the beach and pool and it was awesome. Thank you!
