The location was amazing. Some things to consider:1. The pictures of the house are completely outdated. The images should accurately represent the home. We chose the home based on the images shown on the app and that is not what we got.2. The day of check out, the cleaning crew arrived hours before our check out time. I feel this is unacceptable. We were not allowed the full time that we paid for. 3. Small details like the one refrigerator has a messed up seal on it so some of our groceries went bad before we realized the door doesn't shut properly.

Bummed to lose a star, though, and I'd love to hear more so I can earn it back — because I reached out before your review, in-platform, by email, and by text, and never heard back. No word before or during the stay either, so this is the first I'm learning of any of it. π
On the three items: the photos — you're right that they didn't match, but in the good direction! We repainted and refurnished the Sandbox this year, so you got the freshly updated version before we could reshoot. Nothing that matters to a stay changed — bedding, beds, seating, layout are all as listed — but I'm sorry the new look caught you off guard. The cleaners — checkout is 10, and I'm genuinely confused how you were shorted time. Crews do sometimes arrive early and wait outside in their vehicles, which I ask them not to do; if they did more than that, please tell me, because that I'd want to fix. The fridge — I had both checked: one seal is a little dinged, but both hold temperature fine. The usual culprit when groceries turn is loading an empty fridge with a lot of warm drinks on arrival — it's in our arrival notes for exactly that reason — but if it was something else, I'd like to know.
A quick message during the stay would have let us help — that's what we're here for. I'd still love to hear from you, and I'd love the chance to earn that fifth star next time. Thanks again! π]

Beautiful home, steps from the beach with an extraordinary view! Our large family had plenty of space. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Our bed was very comfortable, huge bonus!! As that is not often the case. We would definitely stay here again!

We’ve enjoyed staying at Andrew’s Sandbox for the past several years! It's been perfect. Our own beach home! Our kids are getting bigger and we feel like we need more room. Do you have bigger places, with less stairs? Thanks for making our stay enjoyable all these years!

As you know, all the beach houses are up one level, so there will always be some stairs--BUT I have a couple places where ALL the living space is on one level: Egret (6BR), Erica's Sandpiper and Summertide (both 8BR). So, once inside, no more stairs! π Those would be perfect I think, and not the cost of jumping to a home with an elevator--have those too but they jump price significantly because BIGGER (10+ BR) and even more amenities than these beauties! Great Spring Break trip

This was a great location for our Spring Break trip! We all had a ton of fun. We loved walking the beach every morning! The house was great! A couple of things to suggest: most of the bathrooms could use a little upgrading, some of the kitchen drawers and cabinets could use some TLC, the smaller king room did not have anywhere to store clothes (maybe add some shelves to the closet), the door to the deck in the larger king room would not open and it would definitely be nice to have a few extra kitchen towels.

I really appreciate the "insider info" on the house as we head into our pre-summer refresh! In fact, my oldest son (the Andrew of Andrew's Sandbox) is a recent grad school graduate and he's actually still down at the coast right now. It’s so helpful to get a guest’s perspective so we can keep AS looking as stunning as that ocean view.

Really enjoyed our stay!! Richard was very kind and helpful. We had no issues or problems during our stay. Loved that it had two refrigerators! Home was clean and a perfect size. The windows allowed so many beautiful views of the beach as your morning kicks off. Sat on the porch watching dolphins every morning. 5 stars all around!

We had such a wonderful stay at Andrew’s Sandbox! The house was perfect for our family of five (kids ages 2, 5, and 6). The beachfront location couldn’t be better, and the shaded pool under the house was a game changer—it was the perfect place to cool off after a hot day on the sand. We also really appreciated the outdoor shower, which made cleaning up the kids after beach time so much easier.The house itself was incredibly comfortable and well-stocked. The beds were cozy, and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. We’ve stayed at other beachfront properties, but this one truly stood out thanks to the thoughtful layout and features.We loved our time here and will absolutely be back—we usually visit two to three times a year, and this is now at the top of our list!

We loved everything about this home! We stayed here with our adult children, two grandchildren and my husband's parents, and this house was perfect for all of us! We really loved that the house was just steps away from the beach and the covered pool was convenient when we wanted to get out of the sun or when it rained. The hardest part was leaving at the end of the week! This house is a dream!!!

My extended family and I loved our stay. It was so nice to step out the back door and be right there on the sand. Plenty of beds, baths, and space for the whole crew. Grandkids loved the bunk beds. The pool downstairs was a really nice break when the beach got too hot.

Me and my boys decided to do a last minute beach trip, I typically like to stay at a beach house because of the crowds and it’s easier with kids. Luickly we ran into this house and booked it. It was very convenient and was a great location. They responded very quickly considering we cooked it as we were on the way there lol. We enjoyed out stay and will 100 percent come back and recommend it to anyone!

Our stay was great! We enjoyed the space with our family of eight. Any time there was a need, Richard and his team were exceptionally responsive! The walk to the beach was just steps, and the pool was great, too! Cannot wait to stay again!

Andrew's Sandbox has become our favorite place to stay at the beach. There are plenty of bedrooms AND bathrooms for our three married kids and their children as they join us for our family vacation. We especially love that the beach is just a really short walk out the back gate. We also appreciate the child locks on gates so we can let our littles play out on the deck with no worries of them getting to the pool without us knowing. The kitchen is well stocked and having two refrigerators is a big plus with all the food we usually bring with us. Already looking forward to our trip next year!

We enjoyed your house very much. The location, location, location is wonderful! It was so nice to look out of those huge living room and dining room windows and see the sand and waves. It was wonderful to be just steps away and able to come back to the house for various reasons from the beach so easily and quickly! My husband and I had never been to Gulf Shores before. We are used to Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head and Charleston beaches. We found Gulf Shores very nice - not too commercialized, well kept, not crowded, etc. Of course, the non-crowdedness could be because our week was at the end of August. We had the beach almost to ourselves which was wonderful. The sand was so white and the water so clear. Unfortunately we found ourselves in the midst of swarms of stinging flies on several days. That was miserable. Our 4 year old granddaughter was stung by a jelly-fish. She surely did not like that! We realize that you are not responsible for nature!
We appreciated the comfortable and attractive furnishings in the living room of your home. We also enjoyed the artwork throughout the house. Everything was very neat and tasteful. We loved having 6 bedrooms - one for each of the 3 grandchildren plus 3 adult rooms - with plenty of bathrooms as well. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The appliances were great. It was wonderful having 2 refrigerators.
I will say that your management company was amazing. We pulled out the slow cooker and found that there was no knob on it. I could not cook without knowing whether it was on high or low or what!! So I called the BamaBeachHouses company. In less than 15 minutes our doorbell rang. A very sweet young lady handed me another slow cooker - with a knob. What service!
I mentioned two concerns about the house. One was that one door mat on the deck was very very ratty and a curled up tripping hazard. The other problem was that when several of the closet/bathroom doors opened, they rubbed against the flooring and gouge the floor. I told them that I would not want my flooring to be destroyed every time someone opened these doors. I thought that the owner may want to address this problem. She said that she would have the doors shaved off to preserve the flooring after we left. She also said that she would bring us a new door mat. She showed up the next morning with a cute, new door mat which was in keeping with the niceness of the rest of the house. We threw the ratty door mat away. Your management company was top notch in our book!

We booked this home for a last minute vacation with our family. The home was beautiful and the views were stunning. I was fortunate enough to have my elderly mother stay with us and having a bedroom on the main floor with a easy entrance on the shower was a huge plus. We had a great vacation.
It would be great to have a better walkway to the beach, climbing the dune is challenging when you have a lot of stuff to take to the beach. We managed it though!
I was very happy with the pool maintenance, HVAC changed the filters, and the garbage service managing the cans for pickup.

We loved your house!!! The location was perfect and we had plenty of space. I lost my husband in May 2023 and this was a trip for the family to laugh and cry and remember the good times. We were in the pool or on the beach whenever it wasn't raining. In the rain we shopped. We did have a big storm one night that blew the patio table over and moved the chairs around on the deck. Nothing was damaged as far as I know. Again, we loved your house. Thanks for a wonderful, memorable trip for our family.

Loved our stay at Andrews Sandbox! The house fit us all perfectly. Bedrooms upstairs and main living area downstairs. There is one bedroom downstairs that is nice for babies to be close by or for guests that can’t do stairs well. It worked wonderfully for us! Bring baby gates if you have babies. Ours like to play on stairs so we brought a couple. π The kitchen is well stocked and made it easy to cook meals. It’s SO close to the shore. Shortest distance we’ve probably ever been to the shoreline. We enjoyed not having to pack our beach gear so far. The pool and back deck have gates which I was really grateful for. Makes you feel safe with littles. Beds are comfy and plenty of them! The windows in the living room and masters are amazing!!! I have really enjoyed them!! So big and such a fantastic view! The marine life is very active right now as well. Dolphins, birds, fish jumping, stingrays and so much more. Not to mention the shells are abundant βΊοΈ Such a fantastic trip and beach house!

The heated pool was the icing on the cake as a cold front came through while we were there so it saved the vacation being able to still have the kids swim! Our family of 17 ( 8 adults, 9 kids ages 1-14) loved the layout of this house. There were enough rooms for all the heads of the families to have a room and the kids love the bunkbed rooms. Plenty of bathrooms, a large eating area, beach access, and the pool gave everyone a place to hangout, relax, and enjoy our first extended family spring break.

It was our family staying on the beach between Christmas and new years. We are grandma and grandpa and our three children and their spouses and our grand children were with us. Andrew's Sandbox had the most beautiful view of the gulf. We enjoyed just looking out the 2 extra large windows. The Kids and grandkids loved swimming in the heated pool. We enjoyed having the beach a few steps away. We took advantage of all of us being together and had professional pictures. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.

Wonderful Birthday celebration!! Sorry it has taken a while to post a review but we are recovering from Hurricane Ida down here in New Orleans. The location was awesome and the house is beautiful and very spacious for the whole family. We had a beautiful celebration for our 92 year old mother. Check in was very easy. Easy access to the beach. The pool was very refreshing after being on the beach on a hot day. We had a great time at Andrew’s Sandbox and I want to give a full 5 stars but we came across a lot of negatives.. When we arrived there were some dirty towels on the floor in front of the washer and the filter rack was laying open on the floor with a dirty filter laying on top of it. We called the management company and they sent someone to change the filters. The kitchen is beautiful but no pantry space. We had to buy a small shelf from Walmart to put everything on and put behind the kitchen table. I believe the second refrigerator is where the pantry is supposed to be. The plates in the cabinets were filthy so we cleaned all the dishes. The garbage bin really needs to be disinfected and cleaned better. There was food stuck on the inside and smelled sour. There was a broom-but with no bristles. We had to go buy another broom. Again, we had a wonderful time. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Bummed that your wonderful time and birthday celebration was marred by a few items that turned an otherwise 5 star stay into a 3 star one, and thank you for letting me know about the things that would be improved. I am sorry you had some issues at the start of your stay. Next time around, please reach out to me directly when anything is a little sideways, and I'll jump right in if the mgt co isn't resolving things. Obviously some of the things I can't really fix (like making a pantry!) but others I certainly and happy to work on! My understanding from the mgt co was that they were returning with a filter and to retrieve the towels and you must have gotten in before they made it back. I apologize for any inconvenience. You are right, there is no pantry at my home. We always store out stuff on the refrigerators and a couple of the cabinets. I am glad you loved the kitchen and the two fridges. I COULD replace the one fridge with pantry space... but pretty sure the bonus fridge is a better thing for most people. I am sorry some plates were dirty, usually the HK team checks them, and the garbage can was dirty too--I asked one of my guys to check that once I knew about it, and to replenish the broom. Brooms, mops, even vacuums, tend to disappear, so if you run into ANYTHING like that in the future, don't hesitate to reach out. The local mgt co is there for you, but I am also always happy to hop in and have someone I know bring by whatever you might need. I am SO glad you had a WONDERFUL time in our home. Andrew's Sandbox is a beautiful beachfront home in an excellent location! Our large family found this home spacious and comfortable! Beach access was very easy as it's right out your door. My older parents could easily walk out to join their grandchildren on the beach. After swimming in the Gulf, collecting seashells, and enjoying seeing dolphins, we would all swim in the heated pool. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool with plenty of chairs on the patio for others to hangout. The two refrigerators in the kitchen provided plenty of room for food and drinks! We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be returning!

We have visited Gulf Shores many times but this was the first time we were able to bring both my girlfriend's children and grandchild together with my children and grandchildren. The house worked wonderfully for us. Out the bank door onto the beach, the under house pool fir the grandkids, and close yo many restaurants.

We really liked the house and loved the location. My girlfriend, her two sons, son's fiancé and grandson, plus my three daughters, two son-in-laws and five grandchildren stayed together. It was our first time as one whole family. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group. Thank you for offering such a great place to stay. We will be back in Gulf Shores next year but have to get commitments from everyone before securing a rental. Thanks again.

Only problem we had was with the pool, we were there for 5 days before anyone showed up to clean it and only happened after I called rental service. I understand it's a busy time with several locations to maintain but there should at least be a net handy to clean the bugs off the top of the water.

This home has the most beautiful picture windows overlooking the beach and we couldn’t stop watching the waves and birds. The home has super comfy beds and furniture and the kitchen has all new appliances and dishes with everything you need to make dinner every night as we did. The owners are super responsive and the on-site team - H. And T. - are really lovely people that make things incredibly nice for long term stays. We feel lucky to have stayed here and hope to do so again.

However for the location and a “family” home it was perfect! We are not a picky family and did not feel like we needed to reach out about any of the items- we could live with them! We love the location, the pool was awesome, and Rick was super prompt in responding, first to the booking questions I had, and then to a need we had on arrival. The house was a bit smaller than some we have rented before, but the use of space was so good that we didn't feel crowded at all. The living room has ample seating and also didn't make anyone feel as though we couldn't all hang out together. At any given time during our vacation we had 11-13 adults and four kids. Right on the beach and about 15-20 minutes from anything you need. It has taken me a while to submit this review because I am torn. I want to give 5 stars because we had a wonderful family vacation, but there was a bit of a downside. The property itself is pretty worn. Cracked and broken floor tiles in the kitchen and dining area, worn out sheets, frayed towels and washclothes, no handle on one refrigerator, one refrigerator has the door bins taped with duct tape to the top bin to hold it up, the only broom is taped together with duct tape as well. One of the biggest issues we had was the lack of a pantry area/cupboard space to store non perishable food. The counter space in the kitchen is limited and with the number of people we had, using the counter for food items didn't work. We ended up buying a mid size plastic shelving unit at WalMart and that did very nicely. Would we return? I say yes. It would be nice to see the property maintained.

The location was awesome for us; on the beach but not near the condos. Was disappointed the lower bunk beds did not have sheets on them and we had to make the beds the night we arrived. It was great to have 6 bathrooms but we stayed for a week & it would have been nice to have had more than 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. The living room furniture was comfortable but I did wish there had been a squeegee for us to use to clean the large windows overlooking the gulf. There are plenty of glasses, bowls, silverware, pots (you can have a shrimp boil with the huge pots), pans and plates. It would have been nice to have had plastic drinking cups, bowls and plates for the kids (the reusable kind). There is a regular drip and a Kuerig coffee maker but when I inquired I was only told of the regular one. There is a mixer and a blender. There are 2 irons and ironing boards (pretty sure I was told there wasn’t one). I was told there was not a grill but there was a small grill when we arrived; maybe a previous guest left it. The king rooms do have enough space to put a pack-n-play but it is a tight fit. The downstairs bedroom with 2 queen beds actually has a closet that was big enough for a pack-n-play and you could see the water from one of the queen beds, another unexpected bonus. There are hangers There isn’t a high chair or booster chair & the indoor dining room chairs are not the greatest for kids under 5; perfectly fine for adults. There are no doors to close off the stairways so the sound does carry throughout the house. Also there are no baby gates to block the stairs if you have young ones. However, the gates outside are awesome and I never worried about a child being able to open the gates around the pool but the gates were easy for the adults to open. The pool was suppose to be heated for us but it wasn’t because something was broken. The pool man came out several days in a row to fix it; but most of the time the pool was colder than the 70 degree gulf water. I was told I would get a refund of my money and a credit for the pool next year if I stay again. The promised refund has not been processed yet and it has been about 6 days since I was told the money I paid to have the pool heated would be refunded. The bathrooms needed a few more towels and washcloths and 2 dishtowels in the kitchen is all you get. Bring your own bathroom soap because the soap provided is a very small. The upstairs flooring needs updating. Location is great!
Hi Dorcy. So glad you all had a great time. As noted in the notes we send out (several times!), the management company we use locally does not have the cleaning crews make the bunks since it often involves crawling over them so instead they leave the bed packs with bunks. Similarly, all the mgt cos along the coast provide a starter set of toilet paper and soaps and so on in case guests need them for the first night, but as we note in my listings and in the many guest notes I have set to send out, it is just a starter set. It would be great if we could provide things for the whole stay but that is not feasible and you will not find that in vacation homes for the most part anywhere--I even run into it in 1-2 bedroom places at ski resorts when I go! Even though the pool heater was not quite reaching temperature of 72-74, due to some issue with it, it was functioning, but I personally went ahead and refunded your pool heating fee in full and noted a credit for a future stay too, so I am more than a little surprised you mention this here well after that occurred, so please check your actual card since I refunded it to the card you used. I also reached out directly for confirmation of that, and a few questions, but have not heard back. Again, happy you all had a great time. Sorry you were disappointed in some of the, very common, mgt practices, and I also appreciate your sharing at length the pros and the cons of our place for other parents--a lot of your comments weren't really critiques, but quite informative for parents... we don't provide high chairs and so on (and don't list them and gates and other gear... and I'd add that the stairs are extra wide so putting a gate up is very challenging unless you have extra wide ones like I had when mine were itty bitties). Again, glad you had a great time and hope you have the opportunity to come back sometime. Reach out if you need anything, and please take a moment to reply to my note if you see this and have not! Don’t bother paying 175 for pool heating because being under the house it’s so cold kids couldn’t even enjoy it.
Rick Goldsworthy: Glad you had an awesome time. Bummed to lose a star over pool temp! It should have been between 82-84 degrees which is on the high side of recommended rec pool temps. They are heated pools and not hot tubs but it should have been comfy for play and swimming. I had reached out afterward as I didn’t see any requests for assistance — but haven’t heard back — it’s possible it wasn’t on if it was that cold and we can always check it. Thanks again Donna. We are all back at our homes safely and enjoying our most pleasant memories of our vacation. It was everyone's first visit to the house and we were all deeply impressed, not only with the house but its prime location and amenities. It also happened to be the first time my 2 & 3 year old granddaughters visited the beach. While they loved the beach, we did have an issue the first few days with jellyfish in the water (possibly related to the recent hurricane activity). Having the beautiful cool swimming pool in close proximity was a GIFT whenever the girls experienced any type of stings or irritations. As for the cleanliness of the place, everything seemed in order. As I mentioned in my other email, the living room couch had a slight bad odor and required application of air fresheners. The only other cleaning issue we experienced was the constant sweeping needed to remove the sand from the floors. We totally expected this to be a challenge but it was made even more so by the very worn straw broom being our only tool. Perhaps having a floor mat secured to the floor near the glass door entry would help as well as a more efficient type of broom? I understand that some items "walk away" and wish I could offer a solution to avoid this loss. As for our experience with the local management company, we only had to make contact with them once - to report the broken door lock on the sliding glass door on our last day. They were very helpful and friendly during the brief phone call. We are hoping to visit the Gulf Shores area again soon and if possible, we will definitely place Andrew's Sandbox as our preferred location. While my husband and I enjoy living in the Boston area and seeing all of the wondrous sights here, it is more special to be able to enjoy time with our families in Alabama AND enjoy the beach.

Had a wonderful time at Andrews Sandbox. 4 generations enjoying the beach. It is a perfect location easy access to the beach. Lots of beds in multiple sizes to easily accommodate a large family or multiple families. Pros - quieter beach, Easy access to beach, lots of bedrooms/bathrooms, Well appointed kitchen, private pool, air conditioning! Cons- have to walk from beach by the pool with sandy feet to reach the hose to wash off…then need to wash pool deck to limit sand in pool. Furniture indoor/outdoor was a little tired. recommendation for renters. Order a few chairs and or umbrellas from a rental company around town. It will make your visit better if you are unable to bring beach chairs with you.

We had an exceptional experience at Andrew’s Sandbox. The location is great! The home was as expected. The house has great flow. There was plenty of space to accommodate 4 families with children, ages 3 and up. The pool is a great size. The communication from the property management was excellent. The check in and check out process was effectively communicated and streamline. There was wonderful recommendations on food and entertainment. We tried to squeeze in as many activities as we could. Overall an excellent experience and vacation!

This home has the most beautiful picture windows overlooking the beach and we couldn’t stop watching the waves and birds. The home has super comfy beds and furniture and the kitchen has all new appliances and dishes with everything you need to make dinner every night as we did. The owners are super responsive and the on-site team - H. And T. - are really lovely people that make things incredibly nice for long term stays. We feel lucky to have stayed here and hope to do so again.

Took the family on our annual trip to Gulf Shores. The ocean was a little chilly, so the pool was a welcome addition. The house was exactly as pictured. It fit us perfectly!

Location of the house was perfect. The beach was beautiful and clean. The pool was a big hit. The house was a little less clean then I expected. Nothing big, just needed so deeper cleaning. The house was not ready at 4:05 pm like we had hoped. The two refrigerators were great, pretty much everything me needed in the kitchen was there. Beds were comfortable and management staff was good to work with. House was just a little less fancy then I expected for the cost. We have stayed in a home in Isle of the Palm that was 1/3 the cost of this and it’s so decorated, each room it’s owe theme. Outside chairs are wood instead of plastic. But this house worked great for our stay

As we note in our confirmation and arrival info, and even in the VRBO listings, check in starts at 4pm, but can often be a little delayed, especially during peak summer season. I am sorry that the home was not quite ready exactly at 4pm. My understanding is you were in inside of 415pm, so I am so glad it wasn't much of a wait. I am sorry that perhaps some details were lacking in terms of needing a deep clean—my home does get a post season deep clean and a couple others throughout the year but I am not exactly sure of the timing relative to your stay. I reached out to you directly in hopes to get a little more info on that from you so I can provide feedback to the mgt co and their HK team. In terms of pricing, that's very odd, and hard to comment on... my home is VERY cost competitive in the Gulf Shores market for the time you went (Peak Summer), so I find it unlikely that you paid 1/3 the price for a 6 bedroom beachfront home, with heatable private pool, for peak summer but if you did, I may have to try the area you mentioned myself sometime as perhaps South Carolina has a much much cheaper rental rate than Gulf Shores Alabama! Or you snagged an incredible last minute stay! Of course, they don’t have our sugary sands, and its the Atlantic not the Gulf, which I’m just a bit partial too! And the shrimp… and… shoot I need a Gulf trip! So glad you found the house location, the pool, the beach, perfect, and that you had a great time, and thank you so much for the feedback. Wonderful Birthday celebration!! Sorry it has taken a while to post a review but we are recovering from Hurricane Ida down here in New Orleans. The location was awesome and the house is beautiful and very spacious for the whole family. We had a beautiful celebration for our 92 year old mother. Check in was very easy. Easy access to the beach. The pool was very refreshing after being on the beach on a hot day. We had a great time at Andrew’s Sandbox and I want to give a full 5 stars but we came across a lot of negatives.. When we arrived there were some dirty towels on the floor in front of the washer and the filter rack was laying open on the floor with a dirty filter laying on top of it. We called the management company and they sent someone to change the filters. The kitchen is beautiful but no pantry space. We had to buy a small shelf from Walmart to put everything on and put behind the kitchen table. I believe the second refrigerator is where the pantry is supposed to be. The plates in the cabinets were filthy so we cleaned all the dishes. The garbage bin really needs to be disinfected and cleaned better. There was food stuck on the inside and smelled sour. There was a broom-but with no bristles. We had to go buy another broom. Again, we had a wonderful time. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

We had a great time at Andrew's Sandbox. It is a special place. The location and # of bedrooms worked great for the 8 adults and 8 children that were with us. The pool under the house worked very well, two days were rainy but the kiddos could still swim. The bathrooms were very clean which we very much appreciated. These were our negatives: The stove was dirty and there was coffee in the coffee pot. The fans also need a good cleaning (I understand this wouldn't need to be weekly but when the edges are black with dust and dirt...). Some of the dishes/pans needed to be rewashed before we used them and I understand this may be from previous renters.

Great stay! We came for a short visit in March. The water and weather was still a bit cool, but not too cool for our kids to spend all day at the beach and in the water. And when they were ready, they could come back and rinse in the outside shower and jump in the heated pool. It was great! We caught ghost crabs, enjoyed the sunrises/sunsets, gazed at the stars, built sand castles, body surfed, and swam all day. The house was clean and loaded with bathrooms, tubs, showers, and sleeping options. The kitchen was stocked with all of the dishes that we needed. The second fridge was a bonus! We also visited Fort Morgan, which was about 30 minutes from the house. My only slight knock was not getting the access code to enter the home, but I also didn't check the email ahead of time that stated to reach out if the code wasn't included. When I did reach out, I received the code within minutes. I would happily stay here again.

Wonderful Getaway! Our stay at Andrew’s Sand Box was such a wonderful getaway. Having been separated over the last several months due to Covid, this was the perfect spot. It offered our special house (lots of room and great accommodations) which opened directly on to the beach. It was so handy to run in and out from the beach for lunches and bathroom breaks for my granddaughter. Highly recommend Andrew’s Sand Box
